About this game
"Let's play a typing game.
All you have to do is type what I tell you to.
You don't have to think about anything at all."
A pair of creepy, mysterious eyeballs is your game master.
You'll follow their instructions to progress through a typing game...
but also be forced to sign a rather unreasonable contract.
Whatever you type becomes reality and is inflicted upon you.
You might be asked to run programs you don't want to,
or even hack your own system in an act of self-destruction.
You might have to watch in horror as your computer breaks down before your very eyes.
There's not much you can really do to fight against this, especially in a typing game...
But with the help of a cat awakened from an ancient game, perhaps you can escape.

The protagonist is a princess who can do nothing but attack, but her attacks aren't limited to enemies. Allies, interface elements, and even the game console itself are all valid targets. With time, it becomes apparent that the game is in fact being played by a child in the middle of a conversation with their dad. Soon thereafter, the player awakens from this dream, only to find themselves face-to-face with a monster which has made its way into the real world. Thank you for enjoying Dyping Escape. We have implemented an update today. See below for further details. Spoilers have been hidden. Updates and Improvements Adjusted the timing of some mechanics on Stage 5. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where some UI and text overlapped in Simplified Chinese. Fixed an issue on Stage 5 where sound effects would not play correctly under certain conditions. Fixed an issue where, after clearing the game, it became impossible to start a new game from the beginning under certain conditions. Fixed an issue where the pledge was generated at an unintended timing after clearing the game. Fixed an issue in the true ending where the eyeballs would not display correctly under certain conditions. You can confirm if the update has been applied by following the steps below: 1. Start the game. 2. Select the menu in the bottom right corner. 3. Select "Open License." 4. Select "To Dyping Escape License" at the bottom of the screen. 5. Updates and Improvements Improved the visibility of some text on Stage 3 when damage was taken. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where manually switching genders via a text file would prevent the game from progressing normally. Fixed an issue in Stage 5 where switching gender via text file would display the message "Name was changed." Adjusted an issue in Stage 5 where restarting the game during the time-changing puzzle would cause the game progress to revert. You can confirm if the update has been applied by following the steps below: 1. Start the game. 2. Select the menu in the bottom right corner. 3. Select "Open License." 4. Select "To Dyping Escape License" at the bottom of the screen. 5.If the version displayed to the right of "License" at the top is "1.004" the update has been applied.
