Trick or Beat?
There are two ways of winning in this game:
Trick: You manage to fill up your trick-pile
Beat: You defeat all creatures of your opponent.
Choose Wisely!
Pick 8 out of 15 cards at the beginning of a match.
You have to come up with a deck at that moment. Look for synergies between card and make a plan.
No card fits every situation.
Plan your Turn
You can sort your summoned creatures in your lane-phase:
Passive lane: Safer, but cannot attack.
Some Abilities are not available.
Active lane: You can attack, but also be attacked easily.
All Abilities are available.
Each Lane has limited slots. Lane slots can be increased during play.
Combine Abilities
Every ability has its time to shine! You just have to spot the right moment.
Some abilities happen to perfectly setup others.
Smart combinations are the key to victory!
A Game of strategy
Its safe to say:
Trick or Beat is full of tactics.

1.2.1 Improved Game UI
Dynamic Hints Introducing a brand new system for the ability hints you see when you play a duel. The hints, telling you what to do are now much more centered and in the middle of the screen to be more accessible. They change position and scale dynamically to fill up the empty space and leave room for you to still see, whats going on. Readability Improvements We cut all UI corners we could to make Texts bigger and more readable across the board. New Tooltip Behaviour and visuals Tooltips are now noticably larger, nicer (animations, wuhh!) and appear sooner when hovering. In a lot of places, additional visuals were added to tell you what you are hovering. New Places for game status We introduced clear hints for win conditions next to the player profiles, so you can track better who is winning or what you have to do to achieve hard-earned victory! Board status We moved board status visuals to their own tab on the left side of the board. Now more ugly, unreadable status tags! They are now big, bright and colorful, as they should be, so you always know, if it is "Peace" or not... Have fun with these changes, and good luck in your next duel!Read full article on Community Announcements (trickbeet552)Patch NotesOfficial
