  [Patch Notes] - 29 September Update - La Pantera

  Hello folks! We are thrilled to announce our biggest Early Access update yet! Our newest Idol, Dahlia, has taken the stage! This means a full new Story level, new dialogue, new cosmetics, new challenges, new skills, new memorabilia, and more! But that's not all, check out below for a ton of new features and improvements that come as part of this update! Hotfix October 1, 2026: - Adjusted the “Perfect Strikes” node in Charlie’s skill tree to do more damage for basic attacks when perfect. This allows Stan enemies to be stunned in 4 perfect hits instead of 5 - Fixed an issue where re-activation of Thunderstuck (Dex’s ability) were not working properly - Fixed an issue where sprinting Bass Invader was not working properly - Fixed an issue where finishing the bouncer in Dahlia’s level at a specific time in the music caused Charlie to move in slow motion and throw the camera off - Fixed an issue where time spent in the dialog at the beginning of Dahlia’s level was counting against the player for scoring penalties - Fixed an issue where players could “ride” the tornado during the Dahlia boss fight NOTE: Leaderboards have been reset due to the large volume of new changes NEW IDOL AND STORY LEVEL - Experience the fiery fury of La Pantera as you battle Dead as Disco's pianist and dancer, Dahlia, in a completely new story level - Dahlia prefers longer attack combos as she will jump in and out of Charlie's range. She'll also employ a few tricks as she dances around the battlefield - The new Flamecho enemy will rain fire down on Charlie's head and then rapidly move in to close range for an unblockable strike and counterable follow-up - New skill tree for Dahlia now available after defeating her story level. Her signature ability, Phantom Dance, allows Charlie to do an empowered dodge, leaving an AoE damaging Pyroette in his wake. A follow up attack to that Pyroette can detonate it, causing additional damage - New status effect, Burn, deals damage per beat - Dahlia will appear in...

  Hey Disco Crew! We’ve been teasing all month, and it’s finally here! The La Pantera Update is live - the finale of the Summer Flames Tour and the biggest Early Access update yet. She’s been watching you from the shadows for weeks. Now she’s ready to step into the spotlight. Meet La PanteraThe child of two legendary musicians, Dahlia should have had it all. Instead, she became the poster child for grief and loss. A pianist and dancer, she blooms, she blazes, and she leaves only ghosts behind. Dahlia favors long, flowing combos with her twin piano fans, Sugar and Spice, before dancing circles around you with her phantom dance partners. Her stage is as vibrant as she is, pulling Charlie through nightclubs, jungles, and the aftermath of a volcano. Hope you’re ready to turn up the heat! New SetlistLa Pantera is Latin beats meet Spanish piano, and it prowls in like it owns the room. But it doesn’t stalk its prey alone. This update brings five new songs to Infinite Disco: La Pantera in both a Radio Edit and a heavier Boss Remix, plus Sugar and Spice, Suavemente, and Kumbala. Eight new Challenges land alongside them, so there are plenty of fresh reasons to chase a better score and really learn the rhythm of her set. New Moves: Phantom DanceDefeat Dahlia to unlock her piano fans along with her Idol Power Set: Fan the Flames. Her core ability, Phantom Dance, dodges away, leaving a phantom dance partner behind. These spinning Pyroettes erupt for several beats, damaging nearby enemies. Charlie has the option to flashback to the Pyroette, detonating it to send enemies flying. Dahlia’s skill tree rewards perfection. Keeping your rhythm as you dance in and out of harm's way will fan the flames of your fever meter, and even set your fists on fire—literally—with our new status effect: Burn.   Hey Disco Crew! The Summer Flames Tour has been on one heck of a run, and we're not slowing down. More than 500,000 of you have joined the floor so far, and you keep showing up, racking up the combos, and making every stage your own. How do we top all of that? By throwing something at you that hits harder than anything you've seen yet. Our biggest update is on the way, and it's built around a brand new Idol. It’s the most stylish, most demanding showdown we've ever put in front of Charlie. And this time, we're not keeping her in the dark. Your newest idol is…almost got us there. We're holding her name back for the full reveal, so for now, take a good look at these clues we’ve been dropping. She's a natural-born star, all elegance and easy confidence up front, but a serious danger once the music starts. She looks glamorous but will dance circles around you (and makes it look effortless). She blossoms then burns. You may have already caught her eyes watching from the dark. Now she's stepping into the light. This Idol brings a brand new sound to the floor.
