Decoration Moving Update is Here! ❤️❤️
Hello everyone!Today we wanted to share a small quality-of-life update that many of you have been asking for.Since the beginning of Early Access, we've received a lot of messages, suggestions and requests from players who wanted to be able to move decorations after placing them. We completely understood why after spending time building a beautiful village, sometimes you just want to adjust a few things without having to destroy and rebuild everythingWe won't lie... this feature ended up being much more complicated than we expected! 😅Moving decorations touches many different game systems, and it took us quite a while to make it work properly. But today we're happy to finally bring it to Glimvale! What's new?You can now move your decorations after placing them!By default, only regular decorations can be movedIf you also want to move your ground decorations (paths, floors, etc.), you'll now find two new toggle options in the Decoration Panel:Enable moving regular decorationsEnable moving ground decorationsThis lets you choose exactly what you want to edit without accidentally selecting the wrong decoration while decorating your villageWe hope this makes decorating much smoother and more enjoyable!Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️This feature exists because of youMany of you suggested it, asked for it, and explained why it would improve the decorating experience. Your feedback continues to help shape Glimvale every single week. One of our favorite things is discovering the villages you create.Whether you share them on our Community Discord, Steam, or social media, we absolutely love seeing your creativity. Every screenshot, every post, every village inspires us and reminds us why we're making this game. From the bottom of our hearts... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you so much for your support, your ideas, your patience, and your kindnessIt truly means the world to us.With love,❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ x100000000000000Alex & Ilona ❤️❤️❤️Read full article on Community Announcements (Milkshake Games)Patch NotesOfficial

Hello everyone! We've just released another small update focused on improving the save system and fixing a few remaining issues.BALANCINGIncreased cost of talent points that cost crystalsEnchanted Tower = 20>40Guild Hall = 50>80Increased maximum number of decorations = 5>10Increased starting number of adventurers = 20>40Dark Dungeon = 80>150 DEBUGSave System - Fixed an issue where sound slider settings were not always saved correctly. - Added saving of modified guild names! - Added additional save protections, especially after performing a Reset Save. - Continued improving the overall robustness of the save system against corrupted or incomplete data.- Article debugging blocked even though it was already unlocked, security added- Fixed bug with the display of the guild name without the player changing the name.- Fixed the red placement zone bug when moving an NPC/animal. (No placement constraints)- Correction to the decoration combos completed: the last 5 were not necessarily marked as "done" on the expanded decoration combo panel. We've learned a tremendous amount while working on these save-related issues, and the system is becoming much more reliable with every update. Save systems are far more complex than they seem, and we're continuously strengthening them to prevent similar issues in the future. If you're still experiencing save issues... If your save was affected by the save-system issues fixed in the last few patches, please don't hesitate to contact us on our Discord. These problems were our responsibility, and we'll do our very best to help recover your progress on a case-by-case basis :) We're truly sorry to everyone who was affected, and we really appreciate your patience and all the reports you've sent us. They've been invaluable in helping us improve GlimvaleRead full article on Community Announcements (Milkshake Games)Patch NotesOfficial
V1.0.15 - About the Recent Save Issues
About the Recent Save Issues Hello everyone,First of all, we want to sincerely apologize to everyone who was affected by the recent save issues.Losing progress in a game is one of the worst things that can happen, and we know how frustrating and discouraging it is. We are genuinely sorry. After investigating the reports, and thanks to many of you who sent feedback and save files, we reworked a large part of the save system and added several layers of protection to make it much more resilient. What has changed? Improved save validation and corruption detection. Added additional safeguards when loading save data. Improved compatibility checks for save data after updates. Improved recovery when corrupted or invalid data is encountered, instead of letting it affect the rest of the save. Fixed several synchronization issues that could occur when switching between villages. These kinds of problems should now be much less likely to happen in the future. If you lost your progress... Please don't hesitate to contact me. If your save was significantly advanced and was affected by this issue, join our community Discord and send me a private message We'll look at your save together and I'll do my absolute best to help you recover as much of your progress as possible. Discord: Discord - Milkshake Games A personal messageWe are a very small indie team. While Alex is primarily a game designer rather than a programmer, this situation taught us a great deal about save systems. They are far more complex than they appear, and this experience has helped us understand how to make them much more robust in the future. We know this doesn't erase the frustration of losing progress, but we are sincerely grateful to everyone who took the time to report bugs, send their save files, and explain what happened.Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your kindness. Finally, we also want to thank every single one of you.Since the release, your bug reports, suggestions, ideas, balance feed...Read full article on Community Announcements (Milkshake Games)
