About this game
Pacifish: Recast is an incremental fishing management game with many mechanics to interact with and improve. It can be played both idly, or more actively to progress faster.
Fish - Acquire and equip poles and tackle to fish in 6 unlockable areas with different fish and materials.
Fight - Disturbing the waters causes both the fish and the materials to fight back. Earn pixels to increase fighting stats and progress to higher tiers.
Hatch - Set up and upgrade incubators to hatch large quantities of fish.
Eat - Consume those large quantities to improve stats such as fishing speed and fight stats.
Swim - Manually take control of a fish to eat other fish and gain resources.
Gamble - Spend your earned coin to play slots, or test your memory in a match game.
Craft - Use materials to craft new poles and tackle, as well as create mods to alter pole stats.
Fish the moon - Upgrade the Sky Rod to increase moon fishing ability, destroy the moon to get permanent bonuses.
Recast is a remake of Pacifish, with added features and a complete rebalance. It uses a new engine and save system. Previous Pacifish save games are not compatible.

Event - Bunny Fish Day | April 20th - 27th
Bunny Fish day is a small event lasting 1 week. There are 6 eggs hidden within the different mechanics. Hints can be viewed in the event screen. After finding all 6 a trinket will be earned for FishClick. Eggs will spawn every 5 minutes in the Hatchery tank. New farming feature & Clover Fish Day
Event - Clover Fish Day | March 17th - 24th After reaching Fisher level 11, Clover Fish are able to be caught. These can be used to obtain clover seeds. The Farm When The Market reaches level 30, a seed pack will become available for purchase. This will unlock The Farm. Seeds can be planted and will turn into currency based on the seed type. Timer will continue to run while offline. Balance Patch - March 1, 2025
-Collection currency tooltip now shows total earned -Decreased exp gain from crate -Rebalanced late game scaling, the following have been increased: Moon piece bundle scaling Fight gear pixel cost Fight gear cost Gear crate cost Sky rod upgrade costs Vectors needed for Heart Scale These adjustments were made due to currency gains drastically outpacing upgrade costs.
