  An Update on the Road to the Full Release

  Thank you very much for playing and supporting Third Person Basketball Court (TPBC).Today, we'd like to share an update on the current state of development.We are currently working to strengthen the development team as we move toward the full release.Throughout Early Access, we've received a great deal of valuable feedback from players. It has helped us identify many areas for improvement and shown us how much potential TPBC has. At the same time, we have realized that some of these improvements are difficult to achieve with our current development resources alone.For that reason, we are currently working to build a stronger development structure, including discussions with publishers and development partners, to help us deliver the best possible full release.As a result, major updates will likely be less frequent for a while.We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been looking forward to new updates.However, we have not given up on TPBC.We remain committed to delivering a more polished and complete version of this unique FPS × Basketball experience, and we will continue preparing for the full release.We will share further updates through Steam News as soon as we have meaningful progress to report.Thank you again for your continued support of Third Person Basketball Court.

  ■ Changes • Added a confirmation dialog when canceling matchmaking to prevent accidental cancellations • Rebalanced character movement speeds to further emphasize character differences • Increased step-back movement distance • Adjusted stamina recovery (slower while moving, faster while standing still) • Fixed issues with overhand pass behavior • Adjusted the position of the shot gauge UI • Extended halftime duration and added a Tip-Off display • Added buzzer-beater support at the end of games We will continue improving online stability and overall game balance.   Thank you for playing TPBC! This update fixes an issue where friends would sometimes fail to spawn correctly in the lobby. The issue was caused by a problem in the member information retrieval process when joining a lobby. This process has been revised to ensure player information is shared correctly. Fixes Fixed an issue where friends would not spawn properly in the lobby We are continuing to improve the game's online features, with a particular focus on matchmaking and party functionality.   TPBC JAPAN CUP Postponed

  We regret to inform you that the TPBC JAPAN CUP, scheduled for April 18, 2026, has been postponed due to a technical issue encountered during the event.We have identified a problem where players joining from the lobby as the same team were not correctly assigned to the same team at the start of matches.Due to this issue, we determined that it was not possible to maintain a fair competitive environment, and therefore decided to postpone the tournament.We sincerely apologize to all participants and viewers for the inconvenience caused.We are currently investigating the issue and working on a fix. A new tournament date will be announced once the problem has been resolved.Thank you for your understanding and continued support of TPBC.
