As a commander in Frontier Control: Invasion, you must defend your human settlement from relentless robot attacks. Build defenses, train colonists, and turn the tide of war in this intense real-time strategy experience.

About this game

Frontier Control: Invasion is a Real-Time Strategy survival game in which you play the commander of a human space colony under the attack of outer space robots. Build your base, train your colony, and fight herds of enemies and bosses.

Flexible playstyle

Every unit gains experience and levels up while in combat, unlocking access to passive and active abilities according to their current weapon and armor suit.

There are only 2 units you can train in the game, Agents and Specialists.

However each unit can be equiped with a unique weapon and armor suit, each of those influencing the unit stats and abilities. There are 8 different weapons and 8 different armor suits, making for a total of 64 possible different combinations.

Tower Defense x RTS

While the game is played as a classic Real-Time Strategy game, there are 8 different offensive turrets you can build in your base, each of one that can be leveled up twice. Weather you prefer focusing on efficient simcity and static defenses or training your entire colony into an army and not using any turrets, both can work.

Fully destructible map

Every single object on the map can be destroyed or used as a cover for your units like cars or appartments. As the game progresses, the city will get more and more damaged by enemy drops and new routes will be taken by enemy herds to attack your base.

    Biomes Update - v0.07.000

I'm excited to introduce two brand-new biomes that will completely change the way you play. Whether you're venturing into glowing forests or crossing scorching rocky wastelands, every map in the game, including the demo map that you can already play now, will be featured with a version of each biome. Lush Biome The Lush biome is a mysterious alien looking landscape shrouded in darkness. Towering trees, energy plants, with vibrant colors piercing through the shadows. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45405081/18bf74fff5b5a5b3e2445b262e68ad53a1711fcf.png Rusty Biome Inspired by vast deserts and rocky badlands, the Rusty biome is filled with towering rock formations, dusty terrain, and a warm ambient glow stretching across the horizon. This biome has the least amount of city space, which means way less garrison points around the map to fight incoming waves of enemies. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45405081/e3da99504cfcc27f246eacd9e5e11545a9aad484.png Still some work to do on improving the ground texture so it blends with the environment but so far so good. All biomes will eventually have a direct impact on how you play the game, though it's staying purely visual for the moment. Changelog Features - Lush Biome - Rusty Biome - Holding ALT now displays all units current equipment Improvements - Increased max simultaneous drop pods count - Drop pods now spawn closer to the base - New props - Improved ground texture Fixes - Fixed trees not blinking upon taking damage - Fixed patches of grass enabled when Grass setting OFF
