Station Haven 3 - Development Update 001
Long time no see!Hello everyone! It's been a while since the last post. I do want to apologize for the silence. Last few months have been a little more tough and so my focused was shifted a little more towards personal priorities. This did not mean that I have stopped working on the game altogether, but just that the progress was slowed down. It's a little more difficult to create posts like these on a more regular basis, but what I do use more often is my own personal discord server to talk more regularly. So, if you'd like more regular updates, feel free to join at the following link: https://discord.gg/bJZCtEp For the future, I will try and post an update at least once every-other week.(This does not include the Discord updates)Steam Next Fest!Station Haven 3's Demo was available in the last Steam Next Fest! Being able to find my own game and seeing other people finding it on Steam's front page has been one huge achievement! Thank you to all who have found the game on Steam's Next Fest and have decided to either play it or wish listed!Through Steam Next Fest, we have basically more than doubled the number of wish lists! Additionally, around 20% of the people who have played the Demo have also wish listed the game! I am unsure how good stats like these are, but to me, that's absolutely crazy. If you are one of the people that played the Demo & wish listed, please join my discord or message me directly! I would love to hear your opinion and feedback of the Demo or to listen to any kind of criticism you might have for the game! Any feedback, to me, is good feedback. Now, it's time to go over someTeasersLet's finally go over some of the stuff that's been removed, what's has been done and what's there in the future to come:What's been removed: As I mentioned previously, my vision for the full game release is to have a completely separate instance compared to the demo. What I mean by this is that the only things that will really be familiar if you play both the Demo and ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Denisiss)Patch NotesOfficial
Demo Update - Patch 0.2.2 - Final Update
Hello everyone! Long time no see! I hope everyone has been doing well. I want to firstly apologize for the radio silence for the last, almost, 2 months. I have been getting over a burnout and had some difficult times in my personal life lately. I was finally able to get back into the game thanks to a player that has recently joined the server (discord link below) to ask for some achievement tips. Due to this, I was actually able to get back into finishing the last update for the game! Now, without further ado: Patch 0.2.2 - The Final Demo Update Fixed bugs: Fixed a bug where the "TAB" button wouldn’t work after switching pages once in the manual. Fixed a bug where some assets were slightly misplaced or missing some important textures Fixed the "headlight" the player has so that it now won't clip out of existence if the player backs up too much into a wall. Also adjusted the light on it to reach slightly further. Fixed a bug where the player couldn't finish the game. (Crazy) Fixed a bug where some assets were visible when they shouldn't be. Fixed a bug where there could be two instances of the "Pause" menu active at the same time. Fixed some bugs in the Options menu where the Sensitivity would not save after clicking "Apply". Now, sensitivity will stay constant after pressing Apply and will remain constant even after game restarts. Fixed "1977" (hopefully). Adjustments: Adjusted some cassettes to appear more often Adjusted some events to have a higher chance of triggering (This one's for you, achievement hunters) Quality of Life: Added a few new assets. Updated the map to follow up on player feedback. Now, the map will look more "static". This change was made after seeing that many players thought that map was digital and not static. Also updated the position of the map itself. Added SPRINTING as a response to player feedback. Press "SHIFT" to ever-so-slightly increase your movement speed. Just don't be too loud, mkay? ;) NOTE: Sprinting was not originally designed t...Read full article on Community Announcements (Denisiss)Patch NotesOfficial

Hello everybody! I'm glad to have you all here. I am glad to present to you the official patch notes for version 0.2.0 for the Demo! This will very likely be the final major implementation of the Demo (excluding bug fixes). From now on, the future of the full game, Station Haven 3, shall be slowly built onto the final game. I really hope you guys have enjoyed the game! If you'd like to leave some feedback, feel free to join the discord to chat! Without further ado.. Official Patch 0.2.0 What's new: Added Achievements. There's a total of 6 (4 hidden). Added new "Random Events". Added Station "responses" to certain Critical Module states. An example can be found in the Manual, but there are more. New secret added Bugfixes: (All bugfixes will be marked as spoilers, so only look through them if you have played the game) -Fixed a bug where, after the player would finish a Loop, the "Pod" door would have missing textures. -Fixed some places where players could get stuck. -Fixed some typos in the Manual. -Fixed the Credits end page where it was ever so slightly blue -Fixed some assets with missing collision boxes. -Fixed a bug where the player would be able to move while using the Terminal -Fixed a bug where, if the player would ALT+TAB while using the Terminal, the game would break. Possibly fixed: Fixed an issue where, if a player starts the game for the first time, opening the "Settings Menu" will show the "Graphics Quality" to be at nothing. Quality of Life (QoL): Added a "Controls" page into the Manual. Added a 60 FPS limit. Currently, this does not save between restarts. Added a counter to the objectives for how many Cassettes the player has collected and how many are left. Added a "small headlight", so the player can see around their immediate head area in dark spots. Added a counter to the STATUS ALL check. Now, after the Terminal analysis, it will say how many issues out of how many total there are. (Previously, it will only say how many issues were found) Lowered...Read full article on Community Announcements (Denisiss)AnnouncementsOfficial
Demo is now available!
Station Haven 3 Demo - Officially out Hello everyone! I am very glad to welcome you all to the official release of the Demo for Station Haven 3. The future of the Demo This will be marked as Patch 0.1.1. We had an initial closed release for the Demo where I was able to find a good amount of bugs. I was able to fix pretty much all of them while waiting for Steam's review to be completed. The game is still not yet perfect and there are still a few more things to add. More QoL updates will be coming along with Achievements, but the main game itself and the story I wanted to present for the Demo are here and I wanted to share them with you. The differences between the Demo and the Full Game The story that you will be experiencing throughout the Demo is unique to the Demo. A teaser for the world I am building so to speak. The premise and the actions you will do are part of the final game as well, along with the majority of the main gameplay mechanics present in the game. However, everything that is related to the story that is in the Demo will remain in the Demo. This means that, when the full game comes out, a new entire story will be available with the initial presented premise. Welcome aboard Station Haven 3! I am looking forward to your feedback and I am curious to see what you will think of the game. Any kind of feedback is welcomed! Enjoy!Read full article on Community Announcements (Denisiss)
