About this game
Kickstart your cemetery business
Become a cemetery manager and run the most profitable necropolis around! Cemetery Simulator is a game that pulls you in from your first gravedigger: you clean, expand the area, and organize funerals. Gather prestige, unlock new sectors, face ghosts and vandals, and in 4-player co-op mode, maneuvering the coffin together turns into a real laughter festival.
Build, decorate, and earn prestige
Your cemetery, your rules. You have full creative freedom: buy new tombstones in the shop, plant greenery, set up decorations, and build chapels. Every decoration increases the region's prestige, which is the key to success. The higher the prestige and the more missions completed, the faster you unlock new, mysterious sectors and expand your cemetery empire.
Grab a shovel and dig in
Funeral orders are at the heart of gameplay, and rewards increase with customer satisfaction. The burial itself is a real adventure: dig the grave, carry the coffin, lower it, and cover it with earth. Then place the tombstone, engrave any inscription you want, and arrange items like lanterns, benches, and shrubs in an orderly manner! Over time, you'll unlock new services, such as cremations.
Brooms, trash, and exorcisms
Between funeral orders, you keep things tidy: mow the grass, scrub monuments, make repairs, and collect trash into bags for the dumpster. But this peaceful routine can suddenly be interrupted by unpredictable events. Expect confrontations with vandals, thieves, and after dark - grab a flashlight and battle hauntings during mini-exorcisms.
Many hands make light coffins
The real fun begins in co-op mode! A shared wallet makes it easy to divide tasks—from scrubbing graves to handling orders. Thanks to the physics system, work in the cemetery becomes a festival of comedic situations. Players can splash each other with water, whack each other with shovels, or throw trash bags, sparking waves of laughter and making the game an ideal choice for group nights.

Cemetery Simulator Digs Into Steam Next Fest
Hello, gravekeepers.Cemetery Simulator has shuffled its way into Steam Next Fest, and the demo is open for business. Grab a shovel, tidy up the plots, dig a few holes, and put a friend to work in co-op while you are at it.Before anything else: thank you. A surprising number of you took the time to fill out our feedback survey, and we read all of it: the kind words, the bug reports, and the brutally honest "I wouldn't buy it in its current state." That last one stung a little, but you are right, and it is exactly the sort of thing we asked for. This is a work in progress, and your notes are shaping where it goes.A Few Things You Told Us (Loud and Clear)Some themes came up again and again, so we wanted you to know they landed:The trash bags fill up far too fast. Several of you pointed out that roughly three twigs and the bag is somehow full. Point taken. We are looking at letting you haul more before running for the bin.Placing graves is fiddly. The most requested feature by a mile is a placement grid, so your headstones line up neatly instead of leaning like they have had a long night. It is on the list. You want more than cleaning and burials. A lot of you said the loop gets repetitive, and that a real cemetery is more than raking leaves and lowering coffins. More varied tasks, office and paperwork management, meeting grieving families before a service, and a proper way to deliver the coffin (maybe a hearse) all came through clearly. The NPCs need manners. Mourners wandering into the pallbearer's path or standing inside the walls were a common and very on-brand kind of chaos. We are teaching them to step aside. (You should be happy they did not leave anything more brown there ːlunar2019laughingpigː)And finally, the part our community is clearly hungry for: the spooky stuff. Ghosts, paranormal events, talking to restless spirits, witchy and gothic decor, crows instead of pigeons, and a less "cheerful gardening" and more "haunted caretaker" vibe.
