A New Chapter for Ticking Clock Games.

Hello everyone! After several months of silence, I want to share an update about the studio and the future.Unfortunately, Void Sails did not perform as hoped commercially. As a result, I had to disband the team and continue development as a solo developer. Supporting a project of Void Sails’ scope alone has proven unrealistic. While the game remains very important to me and I wholeheartedly hope to eventually improve and remake it, I cannot currently continue active development on it in its original form. That said - this is not the end of the universe we created. Over the past months, I have been working on a new, much smaller and more focused project set in the same world:The Last Lighthouse. In this game, you take charge of a magical Lighthouse. the Lighthouse Keeper is gone and you are to maintain the Lighthouse and aid incoming ships all the while a mysterious fog starts to spread across the space sector. It explores the same universe, but from a different angle - as a tighter, time- and resource-management experience. This game is intentionally smaller in scope and more aligned with what I can sustainably develop as a solo creator. If this sounds interesting to you, I would truly appreciate your support. You can visit the store page here: The Last Lighthouse. I will somewhat soon be releasing an early demo and would love to hear your thoughts when it’s available. In the meanwhile - feel free to drop your ideas in the general discussions and if you want to express your support - Wishlists make a significant difference for small independent projects.Thank you for your support, patience, and for being part of this journey.Best regards, Ticking Clock Games

Price Drop Announcement. New Price for New Captains!

Ahoy, Captains! We have an important update to share. Starting today, Void Sails is now available at a reduced price. This decision comes after listening closely to the feedback from our community. While many of you appreciated the game’s world, atmosphere, and story, we also heard the concerns about its length and scope. We agree - it’s only fair to align the price with the experience offered. But this is more than just a number change. We want more people to discover the journey.Lowering the price helps make Void Sails more accessible to new players who may have been hesitant. We truly believe in the story we've told - and we want to open the doors wider for those who’d like to sail into the unknown. To our early supporters: you mean everything. If you’ve been with us since launch, thank you. Your support, reviews, and kind messages carried us through a difficult time - and continue to do so.We’re currently working on a new project. It’s still early, but we know we want to honor our early captains. Whether it’s free access to the new game, exclusive closed beta invites, or even a tribute inside the game itself - we’re figuring out the best way to say thank you properly. Stay tuned. From all of us at Ticking Clock Games: Thank you for believing in a small team with a big dream. We’re not done yet. — The Void Sails Team

Patch 1: Controller Support, Bug Fixes, and More

Hey everyone! We just wanted to take a moment to talk directly to all of you who’ve been playing, sharing feedback, and supporting our game since launch. We’ve been reading every single comment, review, and discussion thread — seriously, all of them — and we’re incredibly grateful for how thoughtful and passionate this community already feels. It’s clear that despite a few bugs and rough edges, a lot of you are really connecting with the game, and that honestly means everything to us. Controller support is now live! This was one of the most requested features, and we wanted to get it in your hands as soon as possible. It’s something we had in the works, but your feedback really pushed it up the list. Bug fixes have started rolling out. We’ve already patched several minor issues, and we’re continuing to work through the rest. If you’ve reported something — thank you. We’re on it. We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes — fixing bugs, improving things, and reading everything you’re saying. Your feedback is genuinely helping shape what we do next, and it’s been amazing to build this alongside such a passionate group of players. If you haven’t yet, please hop into the Steam Discussions — we’d love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or even just what parts of the game you’re enjoying. It’s been amazing seeing so many of you sail trough the stars already! Your support and enthusiasm genuinely fuel us to keep going. With gratitude, Roman, Janusz and Carlos

    Post launch update

Hello Captains! This update features various small bug fixes and improvements. We heard your reports about the game crashing, and are sorry for inconveniences and progress loss it might've caused. Unfortunately the bug hasn't been detected for a long time, as it happens randomly, usually after 1,5h+ of gameplay. The hardware also seems to be a factor, as part of the dev team never experienced a single crash, even after playing the game through and through. With this update, we push a change that might prevent crashes from happening, but we can't be sure due to the random nature of the bug. We do want push this change now, as it's non intrusive and we want you to be able to enjoy the game without crashing as soon as possible. In the event that crashes still occur frequently, we will investigate further. Please, feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below, or on the steam's Discussions page. We are a very small team, but we try to regularly reply to your comments and suggestions and would like to hear more from you! Safe voyages and good luck!
