Mode campaign

Take command of a mercenary company hired by Duke Enguerrand to bring peace to the Kingdom of Wylma. Try to save the continent from a growing invasion: help your allies defend their lands, explore neighboring realms, protect your strongholds, and launch assaults against the forces of evil!

Skirmish Mode (Online & Offline)

Choose the number of players — from 1 to 7 players.

Select your game mode:

  • Cooperative: everyone defends the same path, with each player responsible for a specific section. Lives are shared among all players — either everyone wins, or everyone loses! Depending on the map, if enemy units break through one player’s defenses, they can be intercepted by the next player down the line, and so on. True teamwork at its finest!

  • Free-for-All: each player defends their own lane. If a player loses all their lives, they’re eliminated. Those who survive until the end claim victory!

Choose the map (some maps are exclusive to specific modes).

Select the enemy army you’ll face:

  • From pre-made armies, ready to give everything to reach your base.

  • Or by using the Tavern, a building where you can recruit monsters to send against your opponents.

Adjust the difficulty settings to match your preferred challenge level: number of lives to protect, gold recovery rate from defeated monsters, and more.

If you’re playing offline, you can play with bots. Otherwise, create or join online matches and share the fun with players around the world!

Tower Creation Workshop

Master the game’s combat system and use it to craft your own towers to dominate the battlefield.

Choose your tower base:

  • Classic

  • Tall, specialized against flying units

  • Bunker, designed for ground and close-combat defense

Select a weapon from a wide range of exciting options (crossbow, cannon, tesla coil, and more).

Equip one or more combat abilities (explosive damage, slowing effect, aura buffs, etc.).

Define your base stats (damage, range, reload speed), maximum level, and upgrade curve to achieve the perfect synergy for your strategy!

Is your tower too powerful to be accepted in-game? Add some penalties to balance it out — cost, build time, and more.

    Security update

Hi, it's Vollkornbrott, It's been a while since I didn't delivered an update ! There have been some changes in my life, which reduce the time I can consume to develop the game, but increase the financial investment I can put in the game. So the updates will be more scattered (around 1/month) but with a bigger scope ! And concerning this update, there are no visible changes. The core has been updated, Towers Heritage runs now on Unity 6.0 ! Thank you, who are reading this post, playing the game, and/or give feedbacks ! Towersheritagely yours, Vollkorn

    Improvements and fixes

Thanks for your feedbacks ! This is a patch to address some of them. ImprovementsLog messages are written in a dedicated window, to stop spamming the game view. Space bar put the game in pause. Keyboard button L launch the next wave. Camera's movement is nicer (the speed ot the camera is linear when using either arrows keys or the screen border, instead of having a small acceleration) CorrectionsSometimes, when clicking the button to send the next wave, the next wave was sent followed a few second later by another one. Scroll of Scout report window is quicker. The selection of a unit when the game is paused is no longer a multiselection.

New art ! And best wishes for 2026

Best wishes for 2026!We hope this year will be as good as possible for everyone.I’m making this post to announce a change to the Towers Heritage game capsule. It was created by Bruno Barros (his ArtStation portfolio), whom I would like to thank once again from the bottom of my heart. His workflow is flawless and the final renders are stunning. I’m a huge fan of the capsules he creates. He truly knows how to reveal a game’s content while conveying its gameplay through composition, all while making it look beautiful and eye-catching. We love work done right.Towers Heritage has been out for a few months now, and I’m incredibly happy to see that people are playing and enjoying the game. After all these years of work and doubt, it’s an immense joy to see players having a good time with it. I want to thank you all sincerely, from the bottom of my heart.A huge thanks to everyone who sends feedback, writes reviews (and positives, that's lovely), and recommends the game. I understand it’s still far from what you might expect it to be, but there isn’t much left to do for it to truly live up to its name.Over the next few days, I’ll be focusing on communication, talking a bit more about the game online and helping it reach a wider audience. After that, I’ll start working on the feedback I’ve received recently, which will make the game more enjoyable. At the same time, the writing of the story mode is ongoing, and I can’t wait to reveal it to you, through new fun and challenging levels. You can expect regular patches over the coming weeks and months. The next major milestone is planned for March 2026.Surprises, surprises.
