Navigate Asteroid Fields as Corelatine Rangers Ralph and Brad, battling monsters and arresting Dr. Jillkoy, an intergalactic menace, in FictionLand Games' thrilling action game from 2024.

About this game

Galaxy Hassle is a story-rich fixed shooter that lets you play as Corelatine Rangers Ralph and Brad, and they need your help to apprehend Dr. Jillkoy, an evil scientist whose goal is to evolve all species to their "ultimate potential," whatever that means.

Face against the many monstrous creations in Jillkoy's army. They will do whatever it takes to keep you away from their master. What they don't take into account are the many weapons in your arsenal...

The guns of the game!

Stock - This is your default weapon. It's good for picking off small amounts of enemies, and you don't run out of ammo! However, you may want to use something with more firepower when those creatures inevitably flood your screen.

Shotgun - This gun shoots 5 bullets in a spread. While slower, it does a good job clearing out asteroids and other enemies close to you when you badly need some personal space.

Spread Shotgun - Much like the Shotgun, except now it shoots 9 bullets with an even wider spread!

Seekers - This gun will shoot bullets that seek the closest enemy (including asteroids!). It's excellent for effortless, long-range firing.

Note: All of the guns except for Stock require ammo. You can switch to any of these weapons at any time so long as you have the ammo for them!

Co-op

Have a friend/brother/sister/dad/mom/dog/parrot/grimtern/jug of milk that wants to play? Great! Player two can use the arrow keys on the keyboard and play with you in any game mode! Have a controller or two? You can use those too!

Controls

Controls are really simple for this game! You can do it one-handed!

On keyboard it's as follows:

Player 1 - WASD and Space to shoot, fire, and change weapons.

Player 2 - Arrow keys and left Ctrl to shoot, fire, and change weapons.

Secrets

There are also 7 secrets to be found in the game, and maybe more for you to discover in future updates! Can you find them all?

Beta 1.3.3 - Balancing, Bug Fixes, and much more!

Got some things you will love to read in this new update! We decided to give our players some grace while dealing with the bosses of the game. Let’s get into this update! New Added an absolute health system! Depending on the difficulty, there will always be health spawning before you go to face a boss! Not only that, but there are also two new health kits! They are specific to Player 1 and Player 2, so you don’t have to worry about your fully healed friend hogging all the health! They also last longer than normal health kits, ensuring you can grab them before they disappear! Changes - Enemies have calmed down in endless mode! No longer will you have to deal with three enemies at once—at least for now... - The Spireworm’s weak point will now flash yellow, indicating that this is the best spot to shoot first. - You can now counter the Spireworm’s head color change. Reducing its health by 5 points—through repeated hits—will change its head color back to green, opening it up to more attacks! - The Spireworm’s healing doesn’t restore as much health now. - Turning the Spireworm’s weak point to green will cause that segment to drop enough health to fully heal you—if you can collect it all, that is! - Health kits will now flash when they are about to disappear. Fixes - The U.F.O. is no longer invincible when playing as it. - Player 2 Spaceman will now use the Space Trials healing sound. And that’s it for now for the game. As for the OST, you can now listen to all of the tracks in the game here! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5uk5Zjp9IZJkFtlWM2gLM4eNorgkFfCU afcai rfc bcqapgnrgmlq Huh? What the heck was that? Hmm, anyway, enjoy the music!

    Beta 1.3.2 - Spireworm's Last Trick

We said the Spireworm wasn't done, and we meant it! This jerk now has minions... Great. Why did Jillkoy have to make his monsters so awful to fight? I mean, I get that he's evil, it's just... Never-mind. Let's just get to the list. Added - New Spireworm attack! If the Spireworm’s head turns red, shooting its segments will cause the very end to drop our newest enemy. - The Spireminion! These detached segments will shoot spikes in your direction—because you clearly didn’t have enough to dodge already! You can get rid of them by either shooting them directly or killing the Spireworm. - New visual settings! You can now change how space looks in any way you like. Don’t like the stars? Turn them off! Don’t like the nebula? TURN them off! Don’t like the planets? TURN THEM off! Do you just not like anything simtendo added to the background? TURN THEM OFF!!! Changes - Destroying the Spireworm’s weak point will immediately turn its head red. This guy really does not want to be friends, does he? -The Spireworm no longer stays on one head color for an annoyingly long time. He’s still going to be annoying, though… And that’s it for this update! Other than bug fixes, we’re now going to focus on our next major—48m9ufvm8uf4wkjfcmnrdsewiocfv Incoming U.B.O

    Update Beta 1.3.1 Valentines Patch

Added some more neat features to the Spireworm update! Happy Valentine’s Day to all the couples out there! Us single people will continue not having a Player 2. :,( Anyway, let's get to these new changes! Patch Changes - Added a weak point to the Spireworm! Hate his spike explosions? So do we! We've given him a red segment weak point. If you can turn that segment green before destroying it, you'll completely disable his spike explosion and spike shotgun attacks! But if you destroy it without turning it green... well... good luck. - The Spireworm can now heal! If his health drops below 10 or his weak point is destroyed, he can turn his head blue! Shooting his segments while his head is this color will heal him and restore segments—so try not to do that! - Added the Spireship! A new unlockable ship you can get by defeating the Spireworm on Nightmare mode! That weak point is sounding pretty useful now, isn’t it? - Added the Valentine Ship! A new heart-shaped ship that unlocks when you pass wave 20 in Endless mode! Be sure to grab that one for your special someone! This ship can only be unlocked from February 14th to the 20th, so don’t miss out! - Added a new red shader! This shader flashes when you're landing bad hits—like shooting the Dashark while his mouth is closed or attacking the Spireworm when he has a healing head! More features are on the way soon—the Spireworm still has a few tricks up his... sleeves? Uh, segments!
