About this game
Are you ready to discover what is hidden beyond the ordinary?
There aren't a lot of exciting adventures in the life of a modern teenager.
But you can change that if you want to. Go camping with your friends with a night in the woods around a campfire. And when strange things start happening, the choice is yours: stay back or go on an adventure.
You will see that the world is still full of mysteries and riddles that even modern science cannot solve.
You are going to meet some extraordinary characters. Will you be able to find the right approach to them in order to continue your journey?
Is it always necessary to tell the truth? Is it always wrong to be angry? Your emotions, words and actions have an impact on the world around you. And who says there is only one right approach?
ARKA KRAYA is an adventure game in a world where magical realism meets your imagination.
We were inspired by the works of Hayao Miyazaki and tried to create a story, the main character of which will be you.
One story - two worlds and several endings
Control over the words and emotions of the characters
Graphic style inspired by classic American animation and Japanese anime
Frame-by-frame animation of characters that are brought to life by the artists hands
Unique soundtrack combining the sound of classical instruments and synthesized sounds

Update 1.2
We continue working on the game and are ready to present the next update. The biggest and most anticipated change — the game is now fully translated into English! We ran into some unexpected difficulties integrating the localization (yes, we didn't really think it through at first 😄), but in the end we found solutions and translated the project. Huge thanks to everyone who waited! In addition, we've fixed many bugs and issues. Here are the main changes:Localization and textsThe game is fully localized into English.Minor text errors have been fixed (e.g., a missing period in the description of Lunaria).Interface and cursorThe display of tabs in the diary has been changed — object interactivity is now highlighted with a glow/backlight.The cursor no longer turns into a hand when hovering over non-clickable items. The cursor no longer gets stuck as a hand after the dialogue with the fisherman on the left bank.Dialogue, messaging, and interactionAfter selecting a reply in the messaging screen, it now automatically appears in the diary — no extra click is needed. The bridge in the diary now appears without a click, immediately after Toshi's line.Fixed closing the diary with RMB after messaging — the bridge drawing no longer stays on screen.Fixed the click on the tent after the boys fall asleep.Fixed the flower description overlapping the torn page sprite.Animation, movement, and transitionsToshi no longer moves while the diary is open.Fixed clicks on the board above the table in the lab. After picking up the brochure and exiting via the green arrow, Toshi is no longer teleported instantly — the ability to examine objects in the hut remains. On the right bank, during the "thank/say goodbye" choice, there are no longer unwanted clicks on the environment (the frog, the transition arrow).Fixed spontaneous walking, as well as staircase anomalies.Huge thanks to all players and streamers who continue to help us find issues and improve the game!Read full article on Community Announcements (Biggie Smalls)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 1.1
You haven't heard from us in a while, but we assure you, we've been actively busy with the game!Part of our team's efforts went into working on new locations, part into localization, and part into fixing bugs and gameplay experience issues in the locations that were released in early access. What has been done? The save system has been improved, and a UI element has been added that indicates auto-saving of the player's progress and the appearance of a new entry from the professor. The cursor system has been rewritten: the cursor switching to the system cursor will no longer confuse players; the logic for the pencil cursor appearing in the diary has been adjusted — it now only appears when the player can make a new entry; all clicks have been reconfigured.Reaction lines have been added to draw the player's attention to the custom mechanic of 'augmented unreality' (involving the tree, the bridge, the symbols in the library, etc.), along with hints after picking up the brochure and during the dialogue with the fisherman.A delay has been added to prevent accidentally skipping hint lines.Texts have been edited: the professor's notes in the first six locations have been rewritten — informational noise (excessive word abbreviations, insignificant marks and icons) has been removed; brochure entries have been corrected; text borders and alignment inside speech bubbles have been fixed; typos in dialogue lines, notes, and books have been corrected.Layers in the forest and library locations have been organized: objects (fireflies and the bookshelf) no longer overlap the diary pages.Animations for animals and the experimenter in the laboratory have been added; emotional state animations for the character have been created (not just hair color changes); the book wheel animation has been fixed.Sound has been added to the cutscene of the transition from the temple to the laboratory, as well as sound for the wheel animation; music and ambient sounds have been adjusted in volume.Movemen...Read full article on Community Announcements (Biggie Smalls)Patch NotesOfficial

Hello everyone! It’s been a few months since we launched the game in Early Access. If you thought we had disappeared — we haven’t 🙂 We’ve been hard at work on our first major update. And today we’re finally ready to share it with you!The team has put a lot of effort into this patch. We’ve fixed numerous issues and bugs, including many that you reported in the discussions. Thank you for your attention, support, and patience. Your feedback is what helps this project grow and move closer to completion. There have been quite a lot of changes, so instead of an endless list, here’s a short summary of what’s included in this update.Main Changes— Fixed various minor visual and technical issues. Adjusted object placement, corrected geometry inconsistencies, and polished small details that affected the overall experience.— Resolved critical bugs related to the Diary and quest progression. Some of these issues could block progress — the logic behind these quest chains should now work correctly.— Improved the Diary interface. Reworked section display, adjusted marker behavior, and added small improvements to overall UI responsiveness. Navigation should now feel clearer and more stable.— Updated and fixed animations. Corrected animation transitions and removed cases where characters could “walk in place” in certain situations.— Fixed save system issues. Addressed problems where players could be sent back to previously visited rooms. Saving and progress tracking during location transitions should now work more reliably.— Fixed several cursor-related issues. Resolved cases where the cursor would reset or display incorrectly.— Adjusted the logic of the “Other World” location. Internal mechanics of this area have been refined for more stable and predictable behavior. This is just the beginning. We’re continuing to work on both the technical side and the overall gameplay experience. If you notice anything broken or behaving strangely after the update, please let us know in the Steam discu...Read full article on Community Announcements (Biggie Smalls)
