Embark on a unique adventure as you craft and refine your deck to hunt gods in Leavesand’s Divine Sin. This indie RPG blends strategy with roguelike unpredictability in a decaying dark fantasy realm.
About this game
Before the end of the world, you died.
But Stella didn't want to see such an ending, so you resurrected in another timeline of the world and started your battle again.
Distinctive Card-Based Combat
Play Ritual Cards to Gain Energy
As turns progress in combat, the more Ritual cards you play, the more energy you’ll gain in a single turn!
Then unleash that energy to rain down your cards in a powerful burst!
Force Play at the Cost of Sin
You can choose to force-play cards when lacking energy, or even play multiple Ritual cards in a single turn — but doing so will increase your Sin.
When your Sin passes the halfway mark, you’ll enter a Torment state, drawing harmful negative cards during combat.
And if your Sin reaches its peak… you risk instant death!
Choose Your Draws from Different Decks
Draw piles are split into Ritual, Attack, Skill, and Ability decks. When drawing cards, you can select which pile to draw from, one card at a time.
If you’ve ever drawn a full hand of defense while the enemy was powering up their attack, you’ll know exactly why this matters : )
Of course, there’s more to this mechanic than meets the eye…
Wounded HP and Near-Death Survival
Damage you take becomes Wounded HP, which can be healed using certain cards.
But if left untreated, Damaged HP will decay at the end of the turn and become permanent loss.
When you take a fatal hit, you will die at the end of your own turn — unless... you restore your HP above zero or slay all enemies before then!
Grow stronger before the sun sets each day
Random events emerge across the area as time passes
Battle, gather supplies, enhance your deck—every choice matters, and time is limited
At sundown, face the boss in a fight to the death
A variety of random events await
Trade in black market, enhance cards through meditation, uncover powerful parasites
Unexpected surprises

Demo 0.8.21 Update — Lots of New Cards & QoL Improvements
It’s been a while since I last wrote an update log—I’ve quietly pushed some changes behind the scenes. But that’s not really fair to everyone, so here we go.🧟 FractureA large batch of new cards has been added. Some still don’t have their final artwork yet, but I wanted to let everyone try them out. Many of these cards focus on synergy and combo mechanics, which should help address some of the clunky feedback players gave before. Some of the new interactions might even feel a bit overpowered… but hey, let’s see what happens once players break the game.🩸 SanguinarThe Ranger also received some new cards, and a few old ones were removed. The new cards mostly revolve around the evasion mechanic. For example:Shadowstep doubles your Evasion.Afterimage restores lost Evasion. The focus here is on dynamics. While stacking defense endlessly is fun and relaxing, I wanted players to experience a constant ebb and flow—like a rollercoaster.Evasion is Sanguinar’s signature defensive tool, and these cards are designed to reflect that. Also, if you noticed, a few Sanguinar's cards were “borrowed” by Fracture… (they supposedly volunteered).✨ QoL ImprovementsNumeric hotkeys now let you select cards quickly.Quick-play support: cards will queue and resolve automatically after being played.Hovering over a card gradually shows its keyword explanations.Clicking on a Splitter on the field lets you inspect its feeding pile.Read full article on Community Announcements (Leavesand)Patch NotesOfficial
Demo 0.8.1 Update — A Wave of Balance Changes & QoL Improvements
⚔️ Evasion Mechanic ReworkThe previous Evasion system had some depth, but the concept of Agility often caused confusion. This time I’ve reworked evasion once again, making it easier to understand while keeping its unique depth:Evasion: When attacked, reduce final damage by the number of Evasion stacks, then halve the Evasion stacks.🃏 Evasion-Related Card ReworksRoll and Evade: Discard 1 card, gain 8 Evasion.Daring Step: Gain 6 Evasion. If you lose HP from an attack this turn, lose all Dodge.Spinback: Gain the amount of Evasion you have previously lost this battle. Shuffle. Deplete.Shadow Cloak: Gain 4 Evasion whenever attacked.Scarlet Phantom: Gain 2 Evasion whenever you gain Bleed.Phantom Sword: Deal damage equal to Evasion stacks, then halve Evasion stacks. Repeat until all Evasion is gone. Then restore all Evasion.🩸 Blood Ranger Card AdjustmentsCleave: Now has Instant.Incurable Curse: Target’s Bleed will never decrease (until battle ends). Now has Deplete.Bloodburst: Becomes 0-cost when upgraded.Crimson Thorn: Duration 3 → 5.Scab: Healing 5 → 8.Pierce the Heart: Damage 12 → 16, Bleed 12 → 16.🧟 Flesh Aberration Card AdjustmentsRed Eyes → Show-off: Deal 2 attack damage. For each other creature on the field, attack 1 additional time.Big Mouth: Now increases number of attacks when fed.Peacekeeper: Gains 99 Taunt when summoned.Meat Mountain: Taunt intent removed.Sapling: HP growth per turn 5 → 10.Locked Target: Cost 1 → 0, now has Exhaust.Grimace Assault: Damage 10 → 14.Slide Tackle: Damage 7 → 8.Feast: Cost 3(2) → 2(1).Flesh Bomb: Cost 2 → 1.Beast Stance: Strength 3 → 4.Berserk: Negative effect changed to -3 max temporary HP.Stand Forward: Taunt 2(3) → 4(6).🛡️ Taunt & Multi-Hit Attack InteractionAttacks targeting random enemies are now also affected by Taunt.Multi-hit attacks from monsters and splitters are now treated as random attacks.Example: The Castle Archer’s “Multi-Shot 4×6” will no longer keep shooting a dead splitter, but instead redirect to the next target....Read full article on Community Announcements (Leavesand)Patch NotesOfficial
Demo 0.8.0 Patch Notes — New Class! The Fracture Arrives!
🌟 New Class: FractureThe initial version of Fracture is here!Currently, he comes with 45 cards. While the number isn’t huge, it’s already enough to test his core mechanics. (In fact, I still have many ideas that didn’t make it in yet!)Balancing such a unique mechanic as the Splitters is an extraordinary challenge, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on feedback and making adjustments as needed.I can’t wait to see what players think — if you have any feedback, please feel free to reach out!🩸 Sanguinar’s Starting Deck AdjustmentPreviously, the Sanguinar’s starting deck was too bland — not only unfun to play, but it also failed to highlight his unique traits. So, I broke away from the principle of “starting decks should remain simple” and remade 2 of his starting cards:Stab → BloodarrowCost: 1Deal 4 attack damage.Consume all your Bleed, applying the same amount of Armor Break to the target.Minor Heal → BloodhealCost: 1Heal 6 Wounded HP.Gain 2 Bleed.Instant. (When this card is discarded, it is automatically played without consuming Power.)📖 Terminology UpdateThere are actually two types of healing in the game:One restores only Wounded HP,The other restores HP directly.Previously, these two effects were easy to confuse. From now on, they will use different terms:Restoring damaged HP will be referred to as “Heal.”Restoring HP directly will be referred to as “Recover.”Read full article on Community Announcements (Leavesand)Patch NotesOfficial
