Contain bouncing atoms and build walls to progress through levels in this casual simulation game. Your goal? Convert more than three-quarters of the chamber into walls, adding a new atom each time.

About this game

Prepare for a captivating and addictive experience in JezzBall Classic Deluxe Edition, the ultimate evolution of the classic arcade game! Engage in a fast-paced and strategic gameplay as you divide and conquer the bouncing atoms while constructing walls. Can you conquer the challenging levels and become the supreme JezzBall master?

Gameplay: JezzBall Deluxe takes you on a thrilling journey into colorful and dynamic playing fields. Your objective is to confine the energetic atoms by building walls and capturing as much space as possible. Using your mouse, click and drag to create walls, enclosing areas without any atoms.

As you construct walls, make sure they extend horizontally or vertically, connecting from one side of the playing field to another. When a wall successfully completes without being intercepted by an atom, the enclosed area fills up, earning you points and clearing that portion of the field.

Beware of the bouncing atoms! If an atom collides with a wall while it's being constructed, the wall stops, and you lose a life. Each level grants you lives equivalent to the number of atoms present, providing you with strategic opportunities.

To progress to the next level, you must capture a specific percentage of the playing field before the time runs out. With each level, the challenge intensifies as more atoms fill the field, demanding quick reflexes and careful planning.

Features:

  • Captivating gameplay inspired by the classic JezzBall arcade game.

  • Fast-paced and strategic wall-building mechanics to confine bouncing atoms.

  • Use your mouse to click and drag, creating walls and enclosing areas.

  • Earn points and clear the field by successfully completing walls without atom collisions.

  • Lives are provided based on the number of atoms in each level, allowing calculated risks.

  • Time limit adds excitement, requiring swift decision-making and precise wall placement.

  • Unlock new levels as you surpass the capture percentage within the allotted time.

  • Colorful and dynamic playing fields enhance the visual experience.

  • Embrace the nostalgic charm of JezzBall while enjoying modern enhancements and challenges.

Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure with JezzBall Deluxe! Immerse yourself in this addictive arcade game, showcase your wall-building skills, and aim for the top of the leaderboard! Can you conquer the ever-challenging levels and become the ultimate JezzBall master?

    Small update: flat tile themes

Got a bit of feedback recently that stuck with me. A player said the tiles made them feel "woozy" and that they'd rather just have flat ones. Fair enough every tile in the game has a little concentric square marking in the middle, and once you've got a few hundred of them tiled across the board, all those dots do kind of shimmer at you. I didn't want to just swap the art out though, because I know some of you like the chunky retro block look (I do too). So instead, every one of the 9 block themes now has a flat twin. Same colors, same beveled edge so the board still reads as a grid just nothing going on in the middle of the tile anymore. Before the original tiles, rings and dots and all: After the new flat variants, same palette, calm centers: These aren't a replacement they show up as their own entries in the theme selector, right after the existing ones. So if your eyes were fine with the old tiles, nothing changes for you, and your saved theme stays exactly where it was. And then it got a bit out of handOnce the recolor pipeline existed, adding new colors was basically free. So there are now six colors the game never had red, amber, mint, teal, blue and lavender and each one comes in both styles: flat, and the classic ring pattern for people who like the busy look. New colors, flat Red, Amber, Mint, Teal, Blue, Lavender: Same colors, classic rings for those who missed the dots already: While I was in there, I fixed something that's bugged me for a while: most themes didn't have names. The selector just said "Theme 7" and good luck remembering which one that was. Every theme now has a real name the pink one is Bubblegum, the violet one is Grape, the gray one is Graphite, and so on. Much easier to tell a friend "try Limelight" than "try Theme 7". Patch notesAdded 9 flat background themes matching the original tile sets: Classic Flat, Dark Flat, Neon Flat, Bubblegum Flat, Grape Flat, Rosewood Flat, Limelight Flat, Berry Flat, Graphite Flat.Added 6 new tile colors, e...
