About this game
MAW is a narrative driven adventure about a queer detective who is struggling with his identity in a repressive society.
Embrace your inner animal! Sniff for clues and lick everything and everyone to gain information. Fight your instincts or accept your true self and proudly face the hostile world!
Investigate crimes. Keep your identity hidden. There would be consequences if the state would find out... or worse, if your mother would.
Form lasting relationships. Talk with other animals. Observe them. Interrogate them. Flirt with them.
All the decisions you make are remembered by other characters. Different story lines and interactions will unlock based on your actions, appearances and personality.
The story of MAW is loosely based on personal experiences. Characters and events are fictional. Emotions and everyday struggles depicted in this game are real.

DEMO - Quality of Life Patch (And Fan Art highlight!)
Heyo! I hope you are having a great start of the year! First of all I wanted to thank all of you who played the demo and wishlisted MAW! I was blown away by how positively the demo has been received so far and I'm super happy that you are having fun sniffing around and getting high on turpentine :3Since the demo launched I updated it a few times, fixing some of the most critical issues (like not being able to play the game, because dialogues randomly stop working xd) Aaaand today I'm adding some QoL settings that you guys requested, including:Look sensitivity slider - Allows you to change look sensitivity (wow!)Inverted controls - You can now invert horizontal and vertical axis for camera (separately)Option to toggle VSync! MAW Demo Launch!
Heyo! For the past year or so I have been hard at work on my new game, MAW, and today I’m proud to announce that you can play the first chapter of MAW as a free demo! This game is something a fair bit different from my other games, but it’s still a very personal project for me, as all my games are… well maybe this one might be a little bit more personal 😅What is MAW?MAW is a narrative driven adventure about a queer wolf detective exploring his identity in a totalitarian regime. You will be solving cases using animal abilities, sniffing for clues, licking for information and overall being a (good boy) wolf detective, while also keeping your identity hidden from the state… and your mother.What is in the demo?The MAW demo features the first episode of what is to be a 7-chapter long story. This first episode is an introduction to the story, world, some of the characters and detective mechanics (like sniffing and licking)! You will be investigating a case of a missing girl, as well as dealing with some personal dilemma.If this kind of game, as they say… tickles your pickle, please, give MAW a shot! It takes about 15 minutes to play through the demo, but there are different ways to approach this first case!
