About this game
Welcome to Aileronia: A Skybound Realm of Heroes and Legends
Aileronia is a legendary realm where real aviation heroes and fantastical characters unite in their passion for the skies. Fueled by Essentia - a mystical energy born of courage and love - Aileronia flourishes under the watchful protection of its fearless guardians, the Aileronauts, who defend the skies and safeguard the Essentia that sustains their world.
For ages, Aileronia knew only peace. But this harmony shatters when the sinister drifters invade, seizing sacred lands to brew a vile, addictive slur called Metus — a dark concoction of fear and greed. At the helm of this invasion is Aranka, a ruthless commander who uses Metus to enslave her followers.
Her twisted ambition? To corrupt the sacred Essence, seize control of Aileronia’s heart, and bend its people to her will.
Step into the Skies as an Aileronaut
Take flight in thrilling missions to defend Aileronia and drive back the invaders. Unite with other Aileronauts, delve into their ancient lore, and absorb the timeless ideals. Through each mission, your courage and skill grow – until you, too, stand among the ranks of Aileronia’s mightiest defenders.
Are you ready to rise as an Aileronaut? The skies await your call.

In our previous article, we introduced Mick’s aircraft — a Spitfire built for chaos, equipped with experimental rolling bombs designed to bring down massive structures and ships. This week, we’re taking you behind the design of one of the most feared pilots in Aileronia — Draco.Draco was designed first and foremost for Close Air Support (CAS) — a real-world combat role where aircraft directly assist ground forces by destroying enemy positions, defensive structures, and vehicles near the front line. His aircraft wasn’t built just to fight… It was built to burn.Featuring heavy firepower and aggressive design, Draco embodies the true spirit of air-to-ground warfare. 🐲🔥 Draco – Concept ArtThe most striking feature of Draco’s aircraft is the dragon head modeled into the front of the plane, symbolizing his life force, inner fire, and his main weapon — a built-in flamethrower that incinerates ground targets. From this concept art, the 3D model of Draco’s aircraft was brought to life. The 3D model of Draco’s aircraft, shown here without textures. This concept art is the first glimpse into Mick’s unique style and character in Aileronia.Mick’s Cockpit – Concept DetailsWe stylized the cockpit after a classic Spitfire but added touches inspired by Mick’s lore. A tiny beer tap sits within reach — because Mick really doesn’t like flying thirsty! This is what the cockpit looks like in its untextured form — just the pure 3D model. Our 3D artist really wrestled with it; according to her, it caused a few sleepless nights. But the result is totally worth it. Behind the Scenes: Night Witch’s Aircraft
In our previous article, we took a closer look at how Red Tail’s aircraft was created — from the first sketches to the final in-game model. This time, we’re shifting our focus to Night Witch. Her plane reflects her fearless nature and connection to the night skies. Let’s take a look at its design, inspiration, and how it came to life during development.Concept Art: Night Witch’s AircraftNight Witch’s aircraft is inspired by the 588th Night Bomber Regiment, an all-female unit from World War II. Pilots of this regiment flew the Polikarpov Po-2, affectionately known as the "Kukuruznik" (meaning "corn cutter" in Russian). To compensate for the aircraft's limited speed and power, pilots would take off at night, climb to the desired altitude, and then cut the engine, allowing the plane to glide silently over enemy lines. This eerie tactic, combined with the distinctive rattling sound of the Po-2's engine, led German soldiers to nickname them the "Night Witches".Our character design honors these courageous women by blending elements of Slavic witchcraft and nature mysticism. The concept art reflects this fusion, showcasing a powerful female figure deeply connected to the natural world.Night Witch and her aircraft, including a bomb conceptsConcept art of the cockpitBased on this concept art, our team created a detailed 3D model of the cockpit, complete with proposed textures and materials.3D model with plain texturesBased on these materials, a 3D model was created, complete with plain textures and proposed materials. Check out the rendered in-game model as well as some of the detailed cockpit elements that bring Night Witch’s fearless character to life.Stay tuned for the next episode of our “Behind the Scenes” series, where we’ll showcase the aircraft of Rene, inspired by the legendary ace René Fonck.Read full article on Community Announcements (Aileronia)AnnouncementsOfficial

This aircraft, adorned with distinctive red tail markings, pays homage to the 332nd Fighter Group, famously known as the "Red Tails"Our design brief challenged our artists to reimagine this classic warbird for a new generation, blending historical elements with modern aesthetics.Concept Art: Red Tail’s CockpitStep into Red Tail’s cockpit, where avionics meet the story of the pilot himself. A DJ at heart, Red Tail loves music and often throws “Hangar party.” Among the flight instruments, a mixing console and massive speakers give a playful nod to his passion.Every detail of this cockpit blends functionality with character, showing how his personality shapes his aircraft.See how the concept art gradually came to life in the final design of Red Tail’s aircraft!Render of the final 3D model (without the glass canopy) and with the landing gear retracted.
