Career

Anyone can decide which development path to choose. You can choose to grow as a computer specialist or, for instance, as a specialist for e-sports events.

Main Game Mechanics and Principles

The game enables interactive management of IT infrastructure and solving real-life problems using actual system commands. You’ll manage and repair systems. But this is just the tip of the iceberg; the game will offer many development opportunities and mechanics that reflect real-world challenges. Through the game, we aim to showcase many elements of the IT industry in a simpler way, helping players acquire additional skills they might not gain in school before their first real job.

Atmosphere and IT Work Simulation

It describes typical technical challenges and career decisions that help build an authentic IT work experience – from router configuration to task prioritization and workload management.

Diversity

Each player is different, so the game will have various game modes. One of the most interesting modes is the learning mode. Here, all game devices can be disassembled, letting players see how they’re built and how they function. Each device will come with several failure simulations and repair procedures, so you can quickly gain new skills. Remember, IT is more than just a computer and a monitor…

Do you have what it takes to survive in IT? Jump in and prove your skills!

EA 1.4.0 - Programming, Programming Course, Server Update

EA 1.4.0 UpdateHello!Another few months of intensive work on the game are behind us. We've introduced many changes, new features, and fixes. Among other things, we've expanded the server systems, but by far the biggest new feature is programming! We know that not everyone enjoys writing code — whether it's for creating a game or a web application. That's why programming-related tasks are completely optional. When you load an existing save, you'll be asked whether you want to enable them. The tasks are at an intermediate level and cover databases, the Python programming language, and the Flask framework. We've also introduced our first programming course, which we'll continue to expand in future updates. Its scope of knowledge can be compared to paid bootcamps. We hope that some of you will gain useful skills from it and put them to use in your future careers! The game features a simulated programming language based on Python, designed for creating programs in the OScypek environment and completing Python-related tasks.⭐Our New Game⭐As you know, we recently announced our new project. It's a story-driven game being developed primarily by a new member of our team. Of course, IT Specialist Simulator is still actively being developed and remains our top priority. Thanks!https://store.steampowered.com/app/4786880/PROTOCOL_BOUND/Added:Added the ability to create a new group on the ServerAdded a properties view for groups on the Server, including group editing and the ability to add users to a groupAdded a view for searching and adding users to a groupAdded a groups view in user properties and the ability to set a user's primary groupAdded the ability to reset a user's password on the server (excluding the IT Manager)Added a new Developer Mode - this mode saves game progress (you need to go to the exit to save world progress)Added the ability to create web and ...

50,000 players in IT Specialist Simulator!

50,000 players in IT Specialist Simulator! 🚀For us, the small team at PixelTeamRed, this is a huge milestone. Behind that number are people who gave our game a chance, shared their feedback, and helped us make it better. Thank you! ❤️On September 7, we’re releasing the EA 1.4.0 update, bringing gameplay and practical IT skills even closer together. What’s new?💻 Programming — tasks involving Python, databases, and building web applications with Flask.📚 Our first in-game programming course, which we’ll continue expanding in future updates.⚙️ New server features, expanded BIOS functionality, plus fixes and improvements.Programming will be optional — players will decide whether they want to receive programming tasks. But if they choose that path, they’ll be writing real code, not just clicking a “write code” button. 🙂 We’re also adding a new task-free game mode dedicated to writing programs for the computers and devices inside the game.We once learned by working through documentation or attending programming bootcamps ourselves. That’s why bringing those experiences into our game feels particularly rewarding to me. I hope that, for some players, this will be the beginning of something more than just another gaming session.Thank you for the first 50,000. We’re keeping at it! 🔥⭐Our New Game⭐We would also appreciate it if you added our new game to your wishlist. It really helps support us.⭐ Reviews Help Us a LotIf you're enjoying IT Specialist Simulator and would like to support us, leaving a review on Steam makes a huge difference. No pressure—we completely understand if you'd rather wait a little longer. However, every honest review helps improve the game's visibility and allows us to continue developing it.Thank you! 🏆
