Embark on a night-time adventure through an eerie forest, using a lantern to uncover secrets. Delve into an exploration mystery where every interaction offers clues to deliver your parcel.
About this game
“A Tiny Wander” is a mysterious adventure of deciphering and unraveling the riddles of the forest’s secrets, through exploration, discovery, and interactions with the locals.
This non-linear narrative’s most distinctive characteristic is that riddles don’t feel like riddles, due to its deep connection of setting, unfolding mysteries, and story.
A Journey Surrounding a Forest’s Mystifying Secrets
Constantly crowded with those who lose their way, a forest of enormous trees one day became feared by locals as the “Awry Forest,” severing it from the outside world. And yet, a certain traveling delivery pigling thoughtlessly accepts a delivery to such a precarious forest.
Fulfill the delivery to the farthest reaches of the forest, guiding the traveler via conversations and the truth behind observations of unusual events encountered.
Camp, Coffee, and a Full Moon
Realizing that the delivery to the farthest reaches of the forest is not a walk in the park, the traveler sets up camp at the edge of the forest to gather clues. Residents like a grumbling furry friend and a fishing fanatic mushroom have worries, and resolving these “slightly quirky” residents’ troubles could connect to important leads. On top of that, the time treating these locals to coffee, and being absorbed in light-conversation around a campfire under the full moon are the valuable moments of a journey.
The Setting is the Mystery Itself
Holding a lantern in hand, look closely, listen carefully, and move cautiously. Illuminate signposts too dark to read, and perk your ears to the hints concealed in the residents' stories. The terrain thwarts your exploration, haul materials, and set up bridges. Do this and you’ll realize the connection to everything as you come to know the world and expand your “Memories.”
That trek of steps will surely guide the traveler to the farthest reaches of the forest before long.
Characteristics
The protagonist, Buie, is an admirable pigling with brawn
Riddles feel unlike riddles, through the use of the environment and the setting
A non-linear design where it’s possible to go straight to the end based on how puzzles are solved
The environment and sky slowly shift into night
Cute characters are simple and have an abundance of expressions
Making other things besides coffee can be enjoyed
Depending on the situation, “coffee time” can be enjoyed with every character
An original soundtrack by Takao Masaki that is soothing to the ears
Furigana features allow young children and Japanese learners to play with ease
There are no elements of horror, so exploration can be enjoyed in comfort
Onward to a Warm Yet Mysterious World
This is a journey of slowly finding your bearings, uncovering the secrets hidden within a forest that is set in a world both warm yet harsh. As a spin-off born from the director’s art book “Quaint Places: Chronicles of Exploration,” a short night-fall adventure paired with a sense of unexpectedness and approachability awaits you.

A Tiny Wander Demo Out Now!
Hello everyone. The day has finally come!A Tiny Wander Demo is now availableTo celebrate the Wholesome Games Celebration, the free demo of A Tiny Wander is now live on Steam 🎉🐷🎉Until now, the game was only playable at event venues, but we’re thrilled that players around the world can finally experience the world of A Tiny Wander. This demo release is a huge milestone for us at DOUKUTSU PENGUIN CLUB. We’re deeply grateful for all your support🌼About the demo🎮️ Because the game is non‑linear, the full version is designed so you can clear it from the early areas. However, for the demo, we’ve chosen a natural stopping point. The demo offers about 30 minutes of average playtime.🔥 Walk around with your lantern. Even in the dark, nothing is scary.☕ Grind coffee beans and enjoy a quiet coffee break by the campfire.💬 Chat with cute NPCs and discover hints that guide you through the story.…and the rest is for you to experience! We’ve checked everything carefully to avoid causing any trouble for players, but if you happen to find a bug, we would greatly appreciate it if you could report it in the #bug-report channel on our Discord server. And to share even more of the charm of the game, we’ve also released a brand‑new trailer ☺️The video is available in both Japanese and Simplified Chinese 🎶We’d be delighted if you could help spread the word so more people can see it!A note about the full release scheduleWe have an important update regarding the release window for the full version of A Tiny Wander. The release has been postponed from late 2026 to Summer 2027.The main reason is that polishing the demo took far more time than expected, and we anticipate that completing the full version will require even more time. With our current pace, releasing within 2026 has become unrealistic. We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been looking forward to the game, and we hope for your understanding. We’ve truly been working seven days a week without rest, but it seems this is the limit...Read full article on Community Announcements (monoyo)
