About this game

Tic Tactic is a roguelike deckbuilding game where you face off against your opponents in turn-based fights using a tic-tac-toe board! Collect new tiles and improve your strategy as you progress! Discover new environments, defeat regular enemies and challenging bosses, meet survivors and deserters–and ultimately uncover the truth of what happened at the Duck Pond.

Form Strategic Combos!
Deal damage to opponents by forming combos on the tic-tac-toe board! Carefully position your tiles on the board to create matches, unleash attacks, and crush the fowl enemies–but make sure to plan ahead, since the board won’t clear between attacks!
Build Unique Decks!
Build a deck out of over two dozen unique tiles with distinct abilities and effects. Shake up the board with game-changing moves to disrupt enemy strategies and create new opportunities to decimate your opponents!!
Unique World and Characters!
Explore different environments filled with unique enemies and encounters as you strive to find out what happened to your homeland. Meet a cast of quirky characters who offer assistance, information, and maybe a few surprises along the way.
Challenging Roguelike Progression!
Defeat enemies and earn rewards like new tiles and game-changing items. Adapt your strategy as you progress, facing stronger enemies and acquiring new abilities. Each run is procedurally generated, leading to new challenges and new opportunities with each run. Improve your strategy to earn a higher score and claim a spot on the leaderboard!

Update 2: Challenge Mode and Housekeeping
Hello all! Popping in with a quick update to clean up some systems and add a new game mode. Here's a quick highlight of some changes: Challenge Mode, which removes free heals and randomizes the world map, so you can't just pick the easiest way through.Stability updates and error checking which should remove some of the hangupsFixed a rare bug that causes performance slowdownsFixed some visual errorsHope this improves the experience! Patch Notes - v.1.04
Halloween is over and it's time to put the decorations back in the attic. This was a small update. Here's a quick rundown of what changes you should expect: Hot Spot now has a working description Added a little effect for the Jackpot and Hot Spot tiles during bonuses Fixed new weapon sprites Added error catching for the Switch tile I also updated the scoring mechanism. It was improperly rewarding elite kills as a score of 50, instead of 500. The score formula is now correctly applied as: - Maybe now someone can claim my spot at the top of the leaderboards. Hot fix 3 - v.1.02_09232025
Thank you all for the patience and diligent bug reports as I have worked through a few of the issues in the game. With this update, I aimed to take care of all of the outstanding bugs. Check out below to see a more exhaustive list of changes. Bug Fixes Fixed some visual bugs with the reward and store tooltips cutting off text Updated the final boss's deck to prevent them from accidentally drawing X tiles Fixed bug preventing some achievements from being obtained. All achievements can now be successfully collected. There was a visual bug preventing outfit weapons from being seen until re-equipped. Re-fixed the end-screen bug Fixed visual bug where turn numbers would not reset when re-entering the game Other changes Added and updated enemy descriptions Updated functionality for the Inferno tile Added a new outfit for purchase Steam cloud support has been enabled!!
