About this game

The «Vostok» scientific complex in Antarctica goes silent after discovering an anomalous structure in the ice—a mass of black ice containing a substance of extraterrestrial origin. At first, the discovery was considered a scientific breakthrough, but very soon the excitement turned to panic and fear.

Polar explorer Oleg is an experienced explorer of the Antarctic wilderness. He responded to an SOS signal to investigate the situation. He has years of expeditions, deadly routes and encounters with the cold that breaks not only the body but also the will. This brave polar explorer, who set out to face the storm, doesn't yet know what awaits him…
Alexey is a special agent for the large corporation "Novy Svet," who arrived to document the virus leak and fully neutralize its consequences. Behind his calm exterior lies a man who has seen too much to believe in happy endings. His mission: gather evidence, clean up anything that could pose a threat, and prevent the nightmare from spreading beyond the station.

What awaits you:
Two playable characters, each with their own story. But sooner or later, these stories will intertwine.
An atmosphere where you're constantly vulnerable.
Limited inventory. Choose wisely what you bring.
Varied and challenging puzzles.
Diverse enemies with their own unique characteristics.
"The cold is not scary when the heart is warm."

Thank you to everyone who has already visited Vostok Station and shared their experience with us.The Black Ice is a survival horror game set in Antarctica. After a mysterious extraterrestrial substance is discovered deep within the ice, all communication with the Vostok research facility suddenly ceases. But that's only part of what's coming.Fixing Issues and Improving the ExperienceOne of our highest priorities has been addressing the issues reported by players.Over the past months, we've reviewed all accumulated feedback and implemented a large number of fixes, covering both technical problems and various gameplay-related issues. The goal was simple: make the experience smoother, more stable, and more immersive for everyone returning to Vostok Station.New Chapters and Unexplored LocationsThe upcoming update introduces two completely new locations. For now, we'd rather avoid revealing too much and spoil the sense of discovery, but we're excited to share a few new screenshots.Let's just say one thing: some secrets beneath the Antarctic ice were better left undisturbed. 🙂P.S. We've also added some rather unusual new enemies. Arachnophobes have been warned.A New Interface and Improved AudioOver the past months, we've completely redesigned the game's user interface.Every UI elemen...Read full article on Community Announcements (Блог Эльфийки)Patch NotesOfficial
Update Postponed: The Black Ice
Friends, we’ve made the difficult decision to slightly push back the release date of our upcoming update. We know this is never the news you want to hear, but right now, our priority isn't just hitting a deadline—it’s delivering the level of quality that we can truly be proud of.We are fully doubling down on quality. Currently, we are completely overhauling the UI and putting a lot of work into polishing the melee combat, which turned out to be much more complex and demanding than we initially expected. It’s incredibly important to us that the game feels better—not just visually, but in the core gameplay experience itself.Thank you so much to everyone who continues to follow our projects, leaves comments, purchases our games, shares reviews, adds them to wishlists, and supports us. For an indie team, this truly means the world! ♥️Play The Black Ice right now, or add it to your wishlist while you wait for the update:Read full article on Community Announcements (Блог Эльфийки)Patch NotesOfficial
