Steal through the shadows in Deserter, an immersive isometric RPG where every move counts as you survive in a decaying totalitarian world. Plan your heists carefully to evade deadly traps and stay one step ahead of the Party's watchful eye.
About this game
In a world of total control and endless wars, you are John Holden, an AWOL soldier trapped in a grim, war-torn town. Use every available trick to survive and escape this damned city: break into houses, steal food and medicine, hone your thieving skills, and influence the fate of its citizens.
You'll have access to a rich arsenal of tools and devices: from lock picks and crowbars to grappling hooks and dynamite. Additionally, take advantage of your surroundings: find or create alternate routes, stick to the shadows, stay quiet, or use loud noises to cause distraction.
Welcome to the City. Here, every step is monitored by the Party, while behind the scenes ideologies collide and power struggles never end. Heartless bureaucrats occupy the halls of the government. On the streets, looters and smugglers run their business. Behind all the closed doors, people dream of freedom, and the plague reigns over the slums.
Craft your own playstyle with an intricate RPG system offering nearly a 100 diverse skills and talents. Develop your character across 8 different mastery paths to become an elusive pickpocket, a skilled hacker, or a charismatic con artist.

Deserter - conceptual sequel to the tactical stealth game Gone Rogue
Welcome to the page of our new stealth game, Deserter! In this game, we aim to bring to life everything we couldn’t implement in our first game, Gone Rogue. We also strive to incorporate most of our players' feedback and suggestions. The game will take place in the familiar universe of a dark dystopia and the oppression of the all-powerful totalitarian State, but with a new plot and characters (you don’t need to play Gone Rogue to understand the story of Deserter). {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45313160/d4588320aec7ae452629bb9a4105daf497b35386.png Compared to the first installment, the game will feature numerous innovations: New break-in methods, new gadgets, and new enemies Exploration in a semi-open world instead of separate missions Increased immersion Survival elements Character control via keyboard or gamepad Enhanced graphics, enemy AI, storyline, sound, and music We plan to regularly share updates about these and other new features, so subscribe to our news by clicking the “Follow” button.Read full article on Community Announcements (Askalot)
