Embark on a unique indie adventure as Dirge, Anna, and Fang navigate the apocalyptic world of Halleumask, where sentient plants threaten every step.
About this game
There's something disturbing happening in the land of Halleumask, an outbreak of malicious vines are spreading across forests, oceans, and in the home town of the vexatious Dirge, Bloodrite City. The creeping vines should have known it will be the last place they visit.
Take control of the mostly brooding canine Dirge and guide their friends, the inn maid Anna and the vampire Fang through the now apocalyptic world which has been overrun by new species of sentient vines, moss and more. As you run through the world try to attain the highest score you can before reaching the end of your journey, you may unlock a few things for your next run through should you decide to return to this nightmarish world...
NightDirge features a few short levels with more content to see on additional run throughs, there's also new surprises each time you complete the game up until a certain point. As NightDirge receives updates the screenshots and trailer on this store page may change, in-game content and visuals may also change over time.
NightDirge is powered by the RPG Maker VX Ace engine, the music that plays in the game is from the RPG Maker VX Ace engine. The music in the trailer was composed by Irene Chan.

Hello, friends of Dirge. It's almost Christmas again so I'd like to add a few more festive items to the game.* Altered the starting levels of the optional, unlockable characters. Here are the updates for NightDirge version 1.1.1! * Created and added new sprites for important items such as Dirge's swords, Fang's staves and Anna's brooms. You can now further upgrade these weapons once more using a Superior Old Crystal. * Fang's staff can now be imbued from the newly added hyper boss. * Added Dirge to the title screen. * Added the Dirge Rifle. * Redesigned every level and added new scenery, objects, colors and items. * Added cards of the Mystic, Warrior, Thief, Paladin, King and Queen and more. * Added a shrine in Vilks Mountain that provides items depending on your score. * Added a new kind of aura. * Added the Chyfrinx Park. * Added new spells. * Added a score bonus and area bonus at the end of the game if you reach 75,000 score and cleared all of the bonus areas respectively. The score bonus is 20,000 score and the area bonus is 25,000 score. * Fixed certain boss drops not appearing in the inventory. * Fixed tile and sprite issues / sizes. Introducing in-game achievements and hard mode. * Achievements will provide the player with an exclusive in-game item if all of them are completed, for each achievement that is completed you will earn experience and other rewards. You will be told of any earned achievements at a red Dirge Glyph. * The changes in Hard Mode are simple, Dirge has less stats, foes have more moves, items heal less for all characters, Dirge will no longer naturally heal outside of duels and more. You can only activate Hard Mode after you have already completed the game once.
