About this game

No Way Home is a twin-stick shooter adventure set in a hostile far flung part of the universe filled with danger at every turn. Outgun enemies in tense skirmishes, take on dangerous mercenary missions, loot bigger and better weapons, and explore a huge starmap in search of answers and a way home.

[Note: the game has nothing to do with a certain superhero movie. We had the name first!]

Gameplay

  • Fast-paced twin stick combat in large open environments

  • Chaotic and sprawling firefights require tactical use of cover, positioning, and timing

  • A regenerating shield allows a buffer to get in the fray, trade hits, and move around the environment strategically

  • Loot new weapons and ship components as random drops from encounters, creating your own build and play-style over time

  • Procedural world generation with hand-crafted encounters throughout

  • No permadeath, classic adventure format with zone respawning

  • Quick-loop arcade modes to unlock

From the team that brought you Moving Out 1 & 2, Death Squared, Thumb Drift and One More Line, RISK: Global Domination and many others.

  • A rich story mode set across a huge universe with voice acting

  • Stunning hand-drawn artwork

    Demo Available

In preparation for Steam Next Fest we've released the demo. It's the first ~30 min of the game although there's no in game timer you'll just be gated from completing a required mission along the way. After getting familiar with the basics, you'll get to explore a few sectors and embark on the first of many missions. Your progress will carry over to the main game. The full is is several hours long and how long will depend on the pace at which you play and how easy you find it. As the game is finished it's always a tough decision as a developer on what to show in a demo and how much content to essentially give away. We're hoping this gives everyone a nice taste of the universe we built and how the game feels. Enough to entice those precious $$$ out of your wallet. We're also using the demo as a sort of public bug test so if you notice any issues please let us know!
