June monthly goals
Hi everyone, new month more goals to check and set. Last month's goals were:\ Add VFX to all cards in the initial mecha\ Release the game trailer and announce it\ Change steam page to reflect the new card design\ Do the progression systemSo, regarding VFX, we did a big job on them and have a bunch to use throughout the game. At least bullet-wise, we haven't yet added much to our existing cards, since we are still figuring out pallettes and overall UI and UX, so we will delay all of that until we have a closed UI.Now we did not announce the game, but we at least did it and posted on Steam and here XD. We will start our marketing push this month, so get ready to get a lot of insights over at our social channels! The steam change is done, and the progression system is also complete. We decided to go crazy and allow the players to actually choose their upgrade on level up! Bounty Fusion will have a Bounty Hunter Rank (BHR). As you win combats and do tasks, you will gain points, and when you level up, you will be able to choose which reward you want, like new mechs, new levels, new cards, new lost techs, more money on combats, etc! Basically, even the meta progress is an option in Bounty Fusion!Besides our goals, we also did a big push on Lost Tech implementation, we did 12 and planned another 30, so by the time we have a demo, hopefully, we will have a bunch of lost techs (Bounty Fusion "relics") ready for you. We also finalized the random event system, and have some ready to be discovered!June will be a lot about consolidation. We pretty much have a vertical slice of the game (systems-wise) so we plan to march ahead and start adding content and balancing everything out. Our goal for June is to have an alpha worth of content, so:1 more mecha, its lost techs and deck2 more bounties implemented (wrapping up the "easy bounties")+20 random events+20 lost techs (4 unique to each mecha)All systems tested and readyThis involves a bunch of technical stuff that is complete but no...Read full article on Community Announcements (ImaginationOverflow)AnnouncementsOfficial
Bounty Fusion December goals!
Hi everyone, new month, time for the usual monthly review! Last month's goals were:\ Start (and hopefully end) a teaser trailer\ Wrap up the visual part of the game fusion system\ Start the enemy AI system\ Launch the game website and social accountsThe teaser trailer will have to wait a little longer, so it will be a "forever goal" until we actually wrap it up. The rest went as expected. The fusion system is finally 100% complete (at least the initial version). This means that, besides the mechanics, the images, names, etc, all fuse to create a unique card. Visually, everything is also in working order, so we can mark that as done and iterate on its design as needed! The enemy AI system is still missing. Since we have a basic attack/defense dumb AI for testing at the moment, we still don't feel the need to actually delve into it, but this might change very soon. Our final goal was to launch the Steam page, website, and all its social accounts (it's just X), which we finally did, so a big win for us to start having some public-facing content besides our monthly goal posts. Finally, we wrapped another system up last month, the Lost Tech system, which works as buffs/debuffs and special mechanics that can be unlocked through gameplay (think of STS relics). Now, December will be a tough month with all the holidays still, our goals for Bounty Fusion are:Create a teaser trailerStart the enemy AI systemDesign the initial mecha deck (30 cards)Design the first lost techs (about 10)This month, we will try to have the first mecha ready for battle, with all its cards and personalized Lost Techs. This should force us to actually implement the AI system too, since we will have to test and iterate a lot on the card and lost techs overall balance. Now time to get back to work. A big thanks for all the support!Read full article on Community Announcements (ImaginationOverflow)
