  1.6 - By The Book...

  Lets Begin...Version 1.6 is officially released for Vault of The Vanquished brining LOTS of content to the game. But also bringing back some things YOU ALL LOVED in Vault of The Vanquished, so lets get into it shall we!The CavernThis location has been teased since the camp update came out! NOW IT IS OPEN! A place that resides Skelfron, a brand new npc - I will go further into this here in a bit. This place is a decrepit area with lots to see! But... the major part is actually this new NPC!Skelfron is Here!Skelfron is a new NPC brought to Vault of The Vanquished which allows for you to change your mode/realm on the fly! Bringing you a new way to fully experience the game! But for those who do NOT know this mode... let me introduce you too.......By The Book Mode/Realm!This is a returning mode from the original Vault of The Vanquished build! It was known originally as "Classic Mode" BUT now its called "By The Book"! The idea is instead of having a slot machine decide your fate it actually is more simplified. Having switches give you, your fate.(More will come from this mode - like re-introducing the ENDLESS Mechanic for both Slot Realm and By The Book Realm!)But let me show you how you can scale yourself for battle!New Upgrades (Kinda)So now The Nameless Blacksmith will offer you upgrades that actually were in that original classic mode!   1.5 - The Deck Builder!

  LOTS has changed in this newest update for Vault of The Vanquished! So I think we just jump straight on in shouldn’t we!?Cards in this game NOW HAVE MANA! This is the biggest change I feel this game has seen since launch! Cards now all have there own mana, so instead of being capped on 5 moves, you have 5 mana. This mana is used to place down cards while in combat! This will lead to crazier cards in the future, but also making it so you have to strategize a bit more every turn to keep things fresh! SO, to make it so your intro game is better I added….The pack Vendor is OFFICIALLY in The Camp! She sells various card packs to help you build your own card collection in The Vault! These cards are ones you get to KEEP, and use for future adventures into levels! Card Packs are purchased with the yellow gems you earn by playing the game! But there is a little more to card packs...Card packs give you cards to add to your collection, but I added some variety! You can open card packs that are as broad as EVERY UNLOCKED CARD IN THE GAME, to cards that suit your builds more (Will be diving more into that further in these notes!). All duplicates will also be cleansed from your collection, making it so you can have a max of 2 cards of the same type in your deck. Speaking of the deck system, maybe I should talk more about that!You can now talk to the NEW NPC Zeliol! He offers deck management abilities, giving you the option of creating upwards of 8 different decks! These decks can have up to 15 cards in them, having a max of 2 duplicate cards, this is to make it so decks don't get TOOOO insane, but also not having to pray to get 15 copies of the same card from packs!Deck creation starts with picking a preset, you start off with just a blank preset -- aka... nothing in the deck! You do get some starter cards at least to get the ball rolling! But... those presets... how do you get more you may be asking??The pack shop is open for business! BUT!!   1.4 The Chef!

  The Chef Update!Hello everyone! Long time no-see! I have been busy at work brining you more Vault of The Vanquished Updates! This being a pretty big one! THE CHEF!This new NPC has been fully added to VOTV and let me tell you all about her!The Chef Needs You....Launching into Vault of The Vanquished, you'll see your Chef needs some help! Her area is destroyed, and there is NOT A CHANCE she can help you in The Vault. So... how do you help?The Beginning!Talking to her allows for you to upgrade the food shop with yellow gems! Doing this gives you access to foods to help you in combat!Foods!Foods are a new mechanic you can use in Vault of The Vanquished to give you a nice buff! From giving your coins extra damage, to boosting their flips! These buffs last from a few games to only a few turns! Granting different levels of buffs! But... if your picky you can always...Keep Building!The Chef gives you access to 3 tiers! Each tier puts an extra item in her shop (Max 3 for right now). Each tier also changes the environment in your little town! These food items are purchased but once you purchase it....Out of Stock!The food is out of stock! So you will need to venture into The Vault, to give her some time to add new products!Thank you so much for your support on this project! Can't wait to work on the next update!   v1.3 THE GREAT OVERHAUL!

  v1.3 IS NOW OUT! ːluvːThis is by far the biggest updates Vault of The Vanquished has ever seen, and I can't wait to share everything in it! From enemy changes to the completely overhauled Main Menu being turned into a Hub! Lets get right into it!The Hub! ⛺This is one of my favorite features in the newest update! A place for you to talk to NPC's to upgrade your character, look through your collection, and start games!The Nameless Blacksmith (The Upgrader) 🪙This NPC is your vessel to upgrading your character! From upgrading coin damage to increasing your luck! (More upgrades will be added in future updates! ːsteamhappyː)Snof (The Wiz) 📕This NPC is gonna be your way to navigate to different levels and change your difficulty! For now just one level is playable, but there is gonna be more in the future! ːluvːCombat Changes ⚔️So this was by far the biggest change in the game... THE COMBAT! Enemies have change a lot, but I am gonna talk about that further down. YOU now no longer try to kill an enemy in 5 turns, you now have UNLIMITED! Only problem, you have health that no longer regenerates by itself! After taking damage from enemies you will have to heal yourself back up, even with limited moves!Healing Items ❤️Now with the new health system you are gonna need some ways to heal! That's why there are now potion abilities you start with to help get your character get back up in health!Enemy Changes 🎮Enemies have changed A LOT in this update! Like COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! From being able to deal actual damage to the player, to being able to heal! So let me tell you this jist on how they work now!Enemy State 💀Enemies have many states! You can see what there state is going to be by looking on the right side near the enemies head and you can see how powerful the state is going to be! From attacking, defending, healing, to completely destroying your coin slots!Enemy Effect 🎒Enemies can also have a few effects, that is seen on the left side of an enemy's head!   1.2 Release Patch Notes!

  Version 1.2 is OFFICIALLY OUT!Without further or due, let me show you EVERYTHING you can find in this new update, starting with the simple things and branching out to the new content!New Main MenuSome small changes have been made to the menu to reduce confusion on the new Slot Machine Mode and Classic mode, so now the both have their own categories! Another awesome feature is the new Replay Tutorial button, allowing for you to replay the tutorial if you need a little refresher! Next up...Cards Felt... TOOO Wordy...So I fixed that! Now cards have a more universal way on how they are all formatted, to allow for less confusion on what a coin will do. One thing I did to also fix this is...Coins now have Percentages!One thing that I felt was needed was actually giving coin faces a percentage. This way you know exactly if a coin lands on heads or tails it will do its given effect without any extra math to figure out. But now... the NEW things!!There's a new Keyword! (Uncover)This is the newest keyword coming to Vault of The Vanquished allowing for you to actually jump into your deck and find a card you want to bring into your deck/hand... etc.Build your Strategy!Have the strategy you want to keep repeating, the Uncover keyword will definitely help you out with that! I can't wait to see what you all can come up with for builds! Now... LAST big feature to share with you all!TRINKETS ARE HERE!A feature I have been wanting to implement for AWHILE now! As you all know your Blue Active Cards give buffs after your coins have finished flipping. While Trinkets on the other hand work while in the flipping/playing cards phase. These can be found and purchased in the shop during your runs, and all have different abilities...AbilitiesThe abilities on them right now are quiet simple, BUT I plan on having a lot more depth to them as the game continues!
