  Play Zozo and the Lost Dreams NOW - Demo available!

  The dream world is yours to explore, Dreamlings! We are excited to invite you straight into Zozo’s dream world. The Zozo and the Lost Dreams Demo is officially available to play on Steam right now! Here’s a sneak peek at what awaits you inside the dream world: Full Episode 1 & 2 Content you can now experience the complete storylines for both Episode 1 and Episode 2! Prepare to explore entirely new environments and meet a colorful cast of Zozo’s dream residents. To make the story truly pop, all the major story beats are fully voice-acted!  In these episodes, you will face two major villains that will put your pillow-fighting skills to the ultimate test. You'll have to square off against the sinister General Evil and the chaotic magic of Alayla. We want your journey through the demo to feel exactly like finishing a classic Saturday morning cartoon. If you manage to complete the storyline all the way to the end of Episode 2, you’ll be treated to our brand-new ending theme song during the credits.  New Upgrades, Tools, and Fast Travel. We’ve added a ton of mechanical depth to make exploring and fighting feel smooth and satisfying: Sticker Upgrades from Bubblefin Find the merchant Bubblefin and buy stickers to upgrade your power. Chocoheart Upgrades from Charlie Collect Chocohearts and give them to Charlie to expand your health bar. The Gum Glove Use it to stick to walls and launch yourself to execute incredible maneuvers. Look out for unique wall surfaces when you explore the game.   Hello, Dreamlings! As the world of Zozo continues to grow and evolve, it was the perfect time to start pulling back the curtain. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to show you the sketches, the ideas, and the journey that brought this dream to life. One Boy, One Pillow, and Worlds of Imagination Zozo and the Lost Dreams is a heartfelt love letter to the late 90s and early 2000s Saturday morning cartoons that our dev team grew up with. Our goal is twofold: We want those who lived through that era to feel that old magic again, and for new players to discover that the humor and charm of that time haven't faded one bit. The story follows Zozo, a boy whose mind is always filled with heroic fantasies. Thanks to a groundbreaking (and slightly chaotic) invention from his neighbor, Professor Aisha, Zozo finally gains access to his own dream. But things go south when a mysterious force prevents Zozo from returning home, trapping him inside his own subconscious. Now, his superhero fantasies are no longer just child's play; they are a real journey to save himself and his dreams. To bring this story to life, we designed Zozo to mirror the iconic protagonists of the 90s: the signature goggles, a long scarf that flows like a cape, and, most importantly, a sense of unwavering heroic optimism. No superhero duo is complete without a bit of banter! Professor Aisha is the brain to Zozo's heart. Beyond her brilliant inventions, she provides the perfect comedic contrast to Zozo’s personality. As his partner and guide, she’s there to keep things in check when Zozo’s imagination gets a little too wild. What adventures await them? Finding the Rhythm of the Dream Since our inspiration comes from the late 90s and 2000s, it felt only right to build the game around a genre that flourished during that same era: the Metroidvania. While most modern Metroidvanias lean into dark, gothic themes, we chose a ‘feel-good’ approach.   Hello Dreamlings, a friendly reminder that Zozo and the Lost Dream Playtest event will end at 5 january 2026. We notice there are a lot of players who joined the playtest event, but haven't had the chance to actually play the game.Fortunately, there is still time to test the game this weekend. Don't forget to try it out before the event ended.
