About this game

Do you have what it takes to make it in the fast paced world of quick service? Attend classes, choose your subjects and grill up some ruckus with some of the most marketable boys in the business! Or dedicate yourself to quality service at an affordable price and go solo.
After class, explore the fast food capital of the world: Flavor City! Pick your destination and tour coffee shops, restaurants, nightclubs, sewers, beaches or the park! Mascots are busy people with schedules of their own, so choose wisely if you're cookin' to catch one of these boys out and about.
Discover the personalities beneath the public personas; make dozens of choices to net craveability points with your favorite mascot and flame broil your way into their heart!

Mackie
Wholesome. Family friendly. Transdimensional. He may be pushing three hundred, but he doesn't look a day over 250. Can you help him find the 'happy' in Happy Meal again?
Kai
Passionate. Creative. Contractually mysterious. School's only other human student - but where'd the canine ears and tail come from? And more importantly - can you teach this dog to hunt again?
Sovereign
Bold. Brash. Borderline felon. The resident hard-rockin' bad-boy of Flavor City; he prefers to let his flame-grilled beef do the talking. Can you break through his tough exterior to the soft serve inside?
The General
Calm. Collected. Undiagnosed workaholic. The silver-fox leader of mascots everywhere with all the world on his shoulders. Can you teach the teacher some of what he's forgotten about life outside his culinary kingdom?

Romance the Mascot of Your Dreams
In classic dating sim/choose your own adventure fashion, compete for the affection of four distinct mascots inspired by real world brand representatives, with expansive routes for each completely unique to them.
Zany Misadventures Galore
Jam out with a mascot rock band, slice through supersized roaches, punch out sapient sandwiches a thousand feet in the air, bomb delivery cars with makeshift hot sauce Molotov cocktails! There's no end to (mis)adventures in Flavor City.
Lots and Lots of Choices
Line cook, or cash register? After-class study sesh, or volleyball at the beach? What's the future of Tex-Mex: triple decker tacos, or taco-flavored soda? Make dozens of choices and experience wildly different adventures each time you play!
Supersize My He(Art)
Beautiful art inspired by a combo of Western cartoon and Eastern anime, with a fully functional gallery to revisit the 50+ CGs, a Music page to listen to our 37 songs and an in-game Character Encyclopedia!
A Truly Unique World
Step into a fully realized setting with dozens of characters with their own backstories, motivations, and plenty of lore to uncover along the way. Whether it's the food, the mascots or anything else - nothing in Flavor City is exactly what it seems.

Update 1.2.2 - Steam Achievements Are On the Menu!
Greetings, Crew Members! Two updates in a month - wowza! I'm very happy to bring Update 1.2.2 to y'all, a small but much requested one that finally brings Steam Achievements to the game. There are now 26 achievements to be unlocked for you completionists out there. All twenty six have been verified on our end to be acquirable, so happy hunting, y'all! Please be aware, since Steam Achievements weren't on our radar when we first released SMH, these are not retro active. If you have technically completed an achievement prior to 1.2.2 (for example, finishing a character's route), you will need to do so again in order for Steam to recognize it. Just a reminder that you can quickly speed through dialogue by holding down the Left CTRL button! HUGE THANKS TO korytoombs/Sunflower Games FOR THEIR AMAZING WORK PUTTING TOGETHER THE PLUG-IN THAT ENABLES OUR ENGINE TO INTERACT WITH STEAM'S SDK! We never could have gotten this working without them - please consider supporting them on itch.io, and our heartfelt thanks again!Lastly, this update also comes with a bug fix for the previously mentioned Quick Speed bug that occurred when switching between save files that were set at different campaign lengths. This issue should now be impossible reproduce, but as always - please let me know on the forums if there's any issues. Barring any huge changes in circumstance, this'll likely be my real last update for a while. Very happy we got a chance to add these requested features. Thanks again, everybody, and HUGE welcome to the big influx of players who've picked up the game over the last month. Take care, ya wild cats!ElijahPatch 1.2.2Changelog:Added 26 Steam Achievements across all routes of the gameFixed a bug introduced in 1.2.1 that required players to fully exit the game if they wanted to play a normal length campaign after starting or loading into a save file set to a short campaign lengthRead full article on Community Announcements (jerrawn)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 1.2.1 - Shorter Playthroughs, Additional Dialogues & More
Hello there!Surprise update! Just a small one - added a handful of more dialogue options, revisited the writing in a few scenes, fixed some typos, and, by request, added a campaign length option!Upon launching a new campaign, players will be prompted to choose their 'shift length' -- a Single (approx. 3-4 hour) or Double (approx. 7-8 hour) playthrough. The new abbreviated playthrough skips the prologue, the weekend heist, majority of Week II and most 'connective tissue' scenes. Additionally, a handful of scenes needed to be rewritten to introduce characters and themes like Patty that you'll need to be acquainted with for character routes that otherwise, in the abbreviated format, the player wouldn't have met yet. On the shortened campaign length, players only need to rack up a measly 4 Craveability Points to kick off a character's arc; the content and length of character arcs, including Solo, has not been edited, however - only the length of the Core Route has been adjusted. Please see the full changelog below for complete details of everything added/changed in 2.1.1.Just for full transparency, this update isn't reflective of a change of plans when it comes to future game updates - those are, unfortunately, still on ice. This was just a relatively quick update to knock out one of the things we promised (shorter campaign). We are still absolutely looking for a way to get Steam Achievements working - but as it stands, the VNM Engine absolutely hates Steamworks integration. If we can get it working, you can expect another li'l update. Please note, there is a pretty major issue specifically with changing between quick and normal speed playthroughs that just came to my attention after the update went Live. I already have several ideas of how to fix it, and will hit it with a fast patch soon as I can! Full details in the changelog. All the best, and thanks so much for all the support!ElijahPatch 1.2.1Changelog:Implemented ‘campaign length’ option to enable shorter playthro...Read full article on Community Announcements (jerrawn)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch Notes for 1.2.1
Hello, there! Small update incoming, with more details in just a bit. Here's the rough and tumble changelog: Implemented ‘campaign length’ option to enable shorter playthroughs, available when starting a new game Added option to partner with the General on Week 1, Friday Morning Exam Added option to either go with Nom Nom on Friday Morning and participate in the sky fight with Samuel Wich, or skip straight to class Added variation of Week 1, Friday Night Nightclub scene to account for if the player didn’t go with Nom Nom that morning Added dialogue choice to Week 1, Monday Morning Pre-Class scene Added dialogue choices to Week 1, Tuesday Evening Expresso scene Added dialogue choice to Week 1, Thursday Morning Lunch scene Added dialogue choice to Week 1, Friday Morning Hotel scene Added dialogue choices to Week 1, Friday Afternoon Lunch scene Substantially decreased the previously egregious length of the Week 1, Wednesday Afternoon Beach scene between Saul and Mackie Shooting Samuel Wich with the harpoon gun now awards players +1 Craveability with Sovereign, even though he isn’t physically present (presumably he felt your actions reverberate through your Soul Bond) Substantial flow and dialogue changes to the Week 1, Wednesday Expresso scene where the player meets Siren and Bae Minor reworking of dialogue across various scenes Adjusted volume for two lowest music settings to allow for even quieter tunes Fixed various typos A post with a bit more information should be live just a bit later this morning. All the love! Elijah and Co.Read full article on Community Announcements (jerrawn)
