About this game
Oh, Hel No! combines crafting, base-building, and horde survival in a wild journey of chicken-esque and demonic ambition. As a scrappy little imp banished to the surface, you’ve got one mission: prove yourself, survive waves of enemies, and conquer the trials of Hel to reclaim your throne.
Play solo or with friends in the Overworld to gather resources, craft gear, level up skills, and build a killer base. Then, descend into Hel to face off in never-ending battles that’ll push you to the limit!

The Overworld is where you gather resources, upgrade gear, explore hidden activities, and build a base to keep you prepared. Craft epic armor, discover stat-boosting recipes, and set up workshops for your next journey into Hel.
VENTURE INTO HEL, FIGHT, & LEVEL UP
Entering Hel ain't gonna be easy, you need Infernal Keys crafted from rarest of Overworld resources (Just some rocks...). With each wave, enemies get stronger, so expand your gear and refine your materials to keep up! AND BRING EXTRAS!
Defeat waves of minions, earn XP, and unlock Talent Points to boost your combat and resource skills. How you play is up to you!
BRING YOUR FRIENDS
Team up to build, battle, or just hang out and enjoy some in-game downtime... with Chickens if you want. Chickens are friends...

🔥 Major Updates for Steam Next Fest! 🔥
✨ New Additions & Improvements New Overworld Mobs! Each player will now have 6 overworld mobs spawned near them. 70% chance to spawn a Chicken, 30% chance to spawn a Boar. If a player is not in the same chunk as a mob, it will respawn in 5 seconds. If a player moves 3 chunks away, a new set of mobs can spawn. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45289453/8274ff2b120844c792dc14d099463f067bfa1f4c.png Portal Activation Feedback Added visual feedback to indicate when a portal is activated. Unactivated portals now have a distinct state for better clarity. Moving Cloud Shadows To add more depth to the overworld, we’ve introduced basic moving cloud shadows! --- 🐛 Bug Fixes & QoL Updates Hel Mob Spawning Fix Mobs in Hel should no longer spawn inside decorative objects (e.g., rocks, structures). This fixes an issue where mobs would become invisible, blocking wave progression. Crafting System Fixes Inventory Full? Crafted items will no longer disappear when claimed. If the inventory is full, items will either drop to the ground or show a warning message. Crafting Table "Cancel" Button Fixed! It now properly stops crafting mid-progress. Crafting Bench Glitch Fixed Selecting two crafting benches from inventory no longer causes the blueprint to get stuck on the cursor. Hel Boons Now Reset Properly Hel Boons from a previous run will no longer carry over into a new run. This prevents unintended stacking effects that could break game balance.
