About the Game
"Karoshi Club" is a first-person horror adventure game. Take on the role of Kumi Yamane, a driven career young woman and highly successful manager in the soul sales industry. The afterlife world of Yomi is on a significant major upheaval, and the Keneō Industry сorporation will be the first to suffer from the impending disaster. Navigate a complex web of mysteries, make crucial decisions, and try to survive in a world you have helped change.

Our multinational indie team is a group of game developers impacted by layoffs in the gaming industry in 2023. However, we refused to give up and used this to create something of our own. Goal 1: 2,500 Wishes - "Paper Crane" This chapter introduces a new mysterious antagonist known as Origami. Kumi is tasked with traveling to an abandoned subway station, where she must confront this eccentric enemy who transforms everything around him into origami figures. The official soundtrack for Karoshi Club will also feature a music track titled “Origami Theme.” Goal 2: 5,000 Wishes - "Summer Hats" In the world of Yomi, Kumi can discover cute hats for her beloved pet, July the larva. Back in her apartment, Kumi will have the opportunity to try on all the hats she finds. Goal 3: 7,500 wishes - “Work Incidents” Work-life in Keneō Industry will include additional random events to make each working day memorable.
