New Trailer Has Dropped
Even in the scorching heat, Pon has been riding around the town with one mission: helping out the townsfolk and preparing a Brand New Trailer for you to freshen up. Hit play and see what you can spot! Follow in the tracks of a small tanuki as you join him on a day in his hardworking life. A helping paw here, a tailwhip there and little by little Pon earns enough to afford a tiny bit of restoration. There is no time for Pon to waste – the festival is fast approaching, and the shrine…well, it has seen better days. To accompany Pon on this journey, join us at Gamescom and try out the Demo: Endless BMX action. Now fully loaded with gnarly tracks, new spicy challenges, and more trick lines than any knees can handle. Quirky local population with their curious little crises. Good luck, and keep in mind: not every problem can be solved with a tailwhip and a package delivery. Shrine decoration is here to stay. The elders are counting on Pon, and the little tanuki? Well… he relies on YOU. Personally. No pressure, champ. A job offer you absolutely have no right to refuse. Just keep one eye on the clock: bosses don’t pay overtime when you’re too busy shredding rooftops. Last but not least: your SAVE GAME from the demo FIRST THREE days will be transferred to the full game! It is time to get yourself some snacks, hop on that BMX and make Pon's ancestors proud! The coming months will still be full of important news, teasers, and more. Follow @denkiworks and CRITICAL REFLEX on X to get all the Tanuki updates first! The sun is blazing, the crowd is buzzing, and Steam Next Fest has officially dropped! Just like we promised, TANUKI: Pon’s Summer joins it with a brand-new... Demo? Well, technically, it is a Demo. Honestly, – more like the first arc of the game sneaking out. And the best part: everything you accomplish during the FIRST THREE DAYS will transfer to the full game after release. Your hard-earned progress is safe with us. Don’t waste your time. Hop on that BMX, deliver around the town, subscribe to our socials, and cause only a reasonable amount of chaos along the way. DEMO is OUT NOW
BEWARE AND BEHOLD, CHAMPS! Pon has finished cleaning up and is finally ready to open the Shrine with something flashy for you to check out. Starting today, we invite you to grind straight into the ENTIRE opening chapter of TANUKI: Pon’s Summer, disguised as a Demo! Deliver packages. Roll through familiar streets, now freshly tuned for summer. The colors pop, the cicadas are singing, and every corner feels like a ride back home. Help the locals. They know your name and always have something going on. Pour drinks, lend a paw at sumo practice, and become the town's first-ever Tanuki photographer. Ride like brakes are just a suggestion. Every street is a trickline in waiting. Spot ramps, launch from rooftops, and cannonball your way through challenges. Make your ancestors proud. The summer festival is fast approaching, but the shrine is still looking like it took the hardest slam. Time to get back on the BMX, earn some cash, and turn that forgotten spot into a place people would be stoked to visit. TANUKI: Pon's Summer: Release Date Shift & Progress Report
Hello again! Pon was riding around town so much the bike chain got red-hot. Then, one glance at the calendar, and it’s December already?! It was July just a moment ago! Time for important end-of-the-year news! First of all, the game’s release window is moved to 2026, with a more precise date to be announced later. We're sorry to those who may be disappointed, and looking forward to playing Pon's adventure soon. Delaying a game is never easy, but we’re confident that some extra development time will be put to good use. In fact, we’ll use this opportunity to share some of the stuff we’ve been working on! We were overwhelmed by the great feedback and warm response to the demo! But, we were inspired to work even harder on features that would improve the experience for all players! Here's a taste of what we've been doing: Navigation improvements - from player-placed tags to a minimap. We heard that sometimes finding your way around town was a bit tough. We wanted to give you some tools to make sure your deliveries are a breeze! Mission improvements - objective markers, player-chosen mission order. Less restricted, more exploration-friendly. A lot more Activities! - important jobs and engrossing hobbies for Pon, their amount and variety are ever-growing. New Town - a whole complete island to explore, just across the bay. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45218539/79521a49bb45f28507468ef565eda07975e68639.png A little more about this new area. Once you get used to lush forest, a short train ride will take you to the town across the bay. There are different flavors of a small comfy town, after all. Rocky mountainside places have their own appeal, doubly so if you’re a BMX-fiend! Rich colors, windier paths, trickier rails to grind. The town has a different feel to it, but it will gladly welcome a busy tanuki. And, of course, a new town means new people to meet and new things to do. Learning a respectable skill from a local stonemason, or just helping a local business stay afloat! {STEAM_CLA...Read full article on Community Announcements (K. Digm)
