Demo v0.0.6
I return for the third time from a public event, this time Gamecity Vienna. Feel free to check out my videolog documenting this adventure! But to conclude this, I had to implement a lot of fixes for the Demo! At the same time I am working on adding another dungeon in playable form to the demo, but these reappearing issues bothered me a lot. It's crazy to think there are still bugs left after all this, but keep in mind as Solodev I can only work through problems one at a time, so I can only slowly and gradually wipe out the problems. Compared to the last Demo-Update this one is much more sustantial. The battle system has been revised with a semi-hitstop to give the player better readability of what's going onKeyboard controls have been added ( WASD + N + M )Chickens now interact with the playerYou can now bounce around on bedsReqorked pushing blocks from the ground up ( I am aware it sitll has some bugs )A new feature has been added that gives little bonuses for exploringTransparancy feature has been added for elements that cover YveWater now interacts with the playerEquipment item icons have been reworkedTrap music has been addedThe final trap should be fixed for good. No more having to repeat that room after the traps are activeDeath now leads to Exit-screenFixed a bug where a button colored a doorFixed some dialogue typosImproved collision for shop-itemsFixed that enemies were showing numbers even when deadAdded sound-effects to many interactionsMade it so you actually have to jump on top of buttonsFixed some geometry problems I was aware ofAdjusted collision so you can't open chests from a level lowerThat was a lot of work, but I want to thank everyone who provided valuable feedback. Of course I also developed more content for the game itself, a lot of these improvements come from the larger game I work on. I still want to make sure the Demo is always as polished as possible. Apologies for the lack of a settings menu. The sound is too loud and I am sure people want to reconfigure the keyboard keys. I want to implement settings in the future!Read full article on Community Announcements (carmofin)Patch NotesOfficial
