Body Hello everyone, I’m Michael, the producer of Moon Fete. Today, I’d like to share the story behind how this world came to be.In the early stages of development, our original vision was to create a management game focused purely on "Taiwanese night markets." However, looking at the vast international market on Steam, we wanted our work to possess greater inclusivity and a grander world-building scale that global players could resonate with. Therefore, the team made a major decision—to pivot our core theme toward a "fantastical journey of night markets under the starry sky."To preserve the authentic soul of a night market, we deeply deconstructed the three key elements that make them so enchanting:Comforting the weariness of a hard day's work: Offering a warm, exclusive haven late at night.A wealth of choices to satisfy every taste: A dazzling array of delicacies that welcomes everyone.A joyful, infectious energy that breaks down barriers: Allowing strangers to share a delightful atmosphere in the exact same place.Based on these three pillars, we structured our lore around a world where "multiple races ostensibly coexist in peace." Although the great wars have settled, residents of each race are still accustomed to staying confined within their own environments, for better or worse. Leading a caravan, the protagonists travel across major cities. While pursuing their own mysterious goals, they serve various kinds of people, using delicious food and bright lights to help residents who usually never interact lower their guard, laughing and enjoying themselves in the Moon Fete.To fully embody this philosophy, we independently designed the "Gnomes"—a cute race dedicated entirely to hospitality.
