About this game
In 1970, Soviet scientists began drilling deep into the Earth. By 1983, they reached 12,000 meters—
but at 14,000 meters, they uncovered something that was never meant to be found.
A strange portal lay buried beneath the surface. When a probe was sent in, hell itself answered. Monstrous creatures poured out, tearing through the facility and spreading beyond Soviet borders.
At first, the USSR tried to bury the truth. But as the world collapsed into chaos, they had no choice but to call for a global response.
Enter MAMA—an elite unit of highly trained female operatives, deployed to hunt the creatures, contain the outbreak, and uncover the portal’s true origin.
The world is on the brink. The hunt begins.

MAMA Demo 3.0 is out! Mission 2, new CG, new enemies
Hey everyone, {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45565680/6ddf1602c80700f34e1f7b49376ebc04681d4979.png Demo 3.0 is out and this one's a big jump. Mission 2 is finally playable, and Harper and Julia are front and center for it. The new mission has all-new CG, new dialogue, and pushes the story a lot further than the previous build did. You'll also run into new enemies that don't behave like the ones you've already fought, plus some new items to play with. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45565680/4276c56fb306ddefdfdf00cb02da292485d8897c.png We also went back into Mission 1 and added more lore and story moments, so it's worth replaying if you've got the time. Some of it ties directly into where Mission 2 takes you. Quick heads up This is going to be the last demo update from us for a long while. From here, every bit of work we do is going into the full game. So if you've been on the fence about trying the demo, this is the version to play. MAMA Demo Update 2.0 Is Out Now
Hello everyone, We’re excited to announce that the free MAMA Demo Update 2.0 is now live on Steam. This is a major update to the demo, adding the first mission of the game and giving players a much deeper look at both the story and gameplay ahead of the full release. In Mission 1, you’ll follow Marina and Tsuji as they travel to a small town in France to investigate a mysterious incident. MAMA Development Update: Shops, Maps & Kickstarter Goals!

Here's what's new: Item Shop System We’re currently implementing the item shop, where you'll be able to buy and sell gear essential for your missions. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45565680/38cea427f193cfa46f655cd1a6a8318330dbe1b8.png The shop is automated and easy-to-use—just approach a highlighted marker and click. Clear icons will categorize items, from powerful weapons to useful consumables. You can sell items as well, so inventory management will be straightforward. Clicking opens the purchase menu, where you’ll find mission-critical gear like grenades and body armor (single-use consumables). Gear availability depends on your character’s faction: Warsaw Pact agents equip Warsaw Pact weapons only. NATO agents equip NATO weapons exclusively.
