About the Game

Lost But Found is a combination of a job simulator & hidden object-finding game. Your attention to finding the right item passengers need, and managing them in a tidy manner will earn you money!

Gameplay

In a top-down table, you are an officer who collects the lost items in an airport. Organize those items in the table. When people who lost their items request them, see if you have the item, then give it to them.

You are expected to be an honest officer, but there is expensive, tempting items, which you are able to steal and sell in the black market. Lost But Found is filled with little fun mechanics, that will make your role-playing experience fun!

You are expected to make sure every passenger in the airport gets their lost item, when you don't have the item, you have the option to take their contact number, to call them when you find their lost items.

Making money, and buying upgrades to make your job easier in the office is necessary. With the interactive upgrade system, where every item you buy has a function, that will either make your job easier or increase your earnings.

Mechanics

• Stacking items on the table to make sure you have enough space.

• Notepad to take down people’s numbers

• A phone to dial people to take their items.

• Ability to decide to keep items for yourself.

• Start your day by helping passengers find their lost items

• Passengers come to ask for their item

• if you have it, give it to them

• If you don’t, take their number and send them on their way

• If the item comes in another day, call them to come to pick it up and keep it safe for them

  Lost But Found - v1.3.0 - Cafe Update & New Items

  Yes. There is a cafe. Yes. You can buy coffee. And yes, it affects your run. With this update, you can visit the cafe during your day and purchase coffee and other beverages. Each drink comes with a unique gameplay effect. Some help you work faster (caffeine does its thing), while others slow things down to help manage patience and pacing. This update also adds 20 new lost items to spice up your runs, along with new functional items available in stores. Update Note We initially planned to release this before the Arcade Update, but decided to prioritize Arcade first to allow extra testing and avoid breaking existing runs. Americano Decrease item arrival interval by 1 second. Espresso Decrease customer arrival interval by 1 second. Chamomile Tea Day length increased by 20% But you get paid 20% less. Chai Tea Latte Increase item arrival interval by 1 second. Green Tea Increase customer arrival interval by 1 second. Ristretto Double Shot Day length decreased by 30% But you get 30% more tips. Americano Double Shot Decrease item arrival interval by 2 seconds. Espresso Double Shot Decrease customer arrival interval by 2 seconds. Chamomile Tea Double Shot Day length increased by 30% But you get paid 20% less. Chai Tea Latte Double Shot Increase item arrival interval by 2 seconds.   Lost But Found v1.2.1 - Bug Fixes! (Yes, It's Overdue)

  Hey Officers! Lost But Found started as a Game Jam game, and our devs working on this game were inexperienced, so some of the systems were too complicated for us to reference these following bugs. Now, one of our senior devs has rewritten some of the aspects and routines of the game. 🪲 Table Upgrade Bug We fixed an issue where sometimes the table upgrade is not saved or not retained for the following day. We rewrote the system for this. 🐞 Called Passengers Asking for Wrong Item Bug We fixed this issue, by rewriting this system. 🐛 QR Code Reader Issue We have disabled this item in a previous patch because of its buggy nature, we rewrote the system for this to make sure its all working as expected. 🐝 Infinite Black Market Glitch There was an issue where players were able to sell a black market item multiple times to make money :) We patched this one. Thank you for hanging in there, me and my team tested these new fixes, but we will be on the lookout for any recurring bugs. Feel free to use our Steam Community Forums to help us reference more bugs. Again, a sincere apology here for my previous lead dev, it's the nature of software development. I know it's a bit late, but we will make sure the game has zero bugs with the upcoming updates. Arcade Building in Map This update adds a new building to the map, which features a pachinko game that you can pay money to play, and maybe profit?   Lost But Found v1.1.1 - Late Game Performance Fix & Upcoming Update

  Hey Officers! We have had some feedbacks about low end laptops/PC's (even some beefy ones) having issues with a lot of items in the table causing lag, or heating up their laptop. When we invesitaged the issue, we figured the colliders and Unity physics computation was causing this. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45187869/b04dd753df4f0ad15c20b4e9775e710dd0c5b289.png We fixed up all colliders of in game items manually with a better collider, and depending on our tests with low end devices, this issues should be all fixed.
