Delve into the world of tabletop gaming with Creatures and Creations, an indie early access experience where you craft unique creatures. Develop your skills as a creator in preparation for the 2025 release.
About this game
This is an application to allow the instant creation of creatures to bring to your table top rpg campaigns to encite the unknown to your players. This is not a full fledged game on its own, but you will be able to roll dice for its stat block and attacks. You will be able to save creatures that you have made, and even share the seed generated by each unique creature so others can view or use it for their campaigns.
You will be able to alter the stats of the monsters by changing its challenge rating and have its values update in real time, allowing you to easily change a difficult creature to something a little easier to hit, or something thats hits a little harder.

Changes Coming Soon
So, it's been a year since I released this as early access and I have not been happy with the development of the project, so I decided to make some changes which put me at re-writing the application itself. The first change is going to be how dice rolling is handeled. The drop on to the creature sheet itself was inspired from other sources, but I feel a more open table to roll the dice onto feels better and you can hide the creature screen to better view the dice, and they don't dissapear right away, allowing you to visualize the dice when reading the results, even at a later time. This also opens up a focus to just roll dice of your choosing and not be restricted to only what the creature had available. Second change is how saving and loading will be handled. It is clunky currently and doesn't allow the saving of manually created monsters, I intend to make this a more streamlined and smooth interaction. Third change is going to be manual creation itself. It is currently hard to read and selecting all the parts from one page feels like too much clutter. It will be broken down into smaller pages allowing easy to follow lists, and you will be able to leave any option set to stay random. Fourth change is going to be the ability to simply disable certain options from creating creatures randomly, which fundamently may change how the seed is generated in the end, so saving a creature will also save the settings you have set to prevent incorrect monsters from being saved and loaded. The final change is going to be introducing maps to the application, so you can set up dungeons, caves, or outside settings where you can use peices to track combat for multiple creatures and players.
