Content notice: In-game combat mechanics include shooting cannons, firearms and melee combat with weapons. Therefore, some blood and corpses will appear, but in a cartoonish / pixel art style. Inside the narrative, some specific events will make reference to alcohol (grog), smoking and gambling, in a typical pirate way, but are not part of any core in-game mechanics.

    Update: New Cannonballs, New Tactics

Ahoy, Captains! This update comes packed with new content, improvements, quality of life and bugfixes to make progression smoother and open up even more tactical decisions and build possibilities.New Cannonball Tactic Cards The biggest changes in this update are focused on ship artillery. We wanted every cannon to feel unique and have its own special purpose, so we've changed how cannons and cannonballs work. From now on, each cannon can fire the standard "Cannonball" as well as one specific Cannonball Tactic Card unique to that cannon. This also means we've introduced 5 brand-new cannonballs, each included with its corresponding cannon: • Aid Shot: Increase your chances of surviving the fight by healing allies within an area.• Netshot: Control enemy crew members by entangling them in a net, pinning them in place and dealing a small amount of damage while you plunder their ship.• Whaler's Shot: Unleash the fury of the seas by firing a massive harpoon at an enemy and pushing them back. • Guardshot: Grant shields to your allies, helping them survive even the toughest moments while boarding an enemy ship. • Salvo Shot: Unleash a sequence of two shots against different targets. You know what they say: divide and conquer! With these 5 new cards, the following is the complete list of advanced cannons and the special cannonballs they can fire: CannonSpecial CannonballIron ThrowerBlunderballDeathrainSalvo ShotShipwreckerHeavy ShotWidowmakerBlightshotSea FuryChainballThe KrakenWhaler’s ShotBasiliskNetshotSiren SongGuardshotThundererAid ShotNew EventsTo make sure all these new cannonballs also have tactical uses outside of combat, we've added brand-new events with new lore and adventures to experience that feature special options when you have one of these new cannonballs equipped in your ship. Improved Emporium Progression We've adjusted the items available at the Emporium so they better match player progression and the economy throughout a run. Lower-tier (and therefore chea...

    New Update Available

Ahoy, Captains! This update introduces a new system focused on bringing better metaprogression to the game. Many players told us that Ancient Coins were too difficult to earn, making it hard to unlock all ships. We also received feedback that defeated runs could feel a bit unrewarding. To improve this, we have added the Ancient Coin Gauge. As you earn score during a run, the gauge will fill up. Each time it fills completely, you will earn one Ancient Coin, which can be used to unlock new ships and strategies for future runs. The gauge fills once for every 5,000 score earned during a run.So sharpen your cutlasses, load the cannons, and set sail once more — the plunder is now bigger than ever, even when the sea gets rough!Thank you for playing and supporting the game.
