Embark on a unique journey to excavate treasures and defeat bosses in Glintseeker Island. Created by Half Soup Labs, this 2027 indie RPG blends adventure and casual exploration for an exciting descent into mystery.
About this game
In this singleplayer mining exploration adventure, you explore mysterious caves in search of ancient treasures and artefacts. Bring your excavated loot safely back to the surface and sell them to the local merchant, or use them to upgrade and enhance your hammers with gemstones at the blacksmith. Rest assured, you will need all the help you can get to uncover the island's long-buried secrets and overcome a mysterious threat from below!
If you loved the caves in Stardew Valley, Glintseeker Island takes you on a similar journey.
Be strategic when mining. Use your hammers carefully to unearth treasures and artefacts hidden under different layers of rock of varying hardness. But beware, with each hammer hit, the wall loses stability and gets closer to collapse!
Your hammers are an integral part of the game. Start off with only your trusty pickaxe to defend yourself, and as you progress unlock new hammers with special abilities to traverse the underground! You also use them to excavate treasures inside the mining minigame. So choose wisely which hammers you bring with you.
Descend deeper and deeper into the mysterious caves and discover unique cave biomes, each with its own gimmicks and twists. Better treasures and also more dangers await the deeper you go. Every 10 floors, you will face challenging bosses or puzzling obstacles.
Stand your ground against the island’s ancient guardians deep below the surface. Slash through swarming underground creatures and prepare for intense boss battles every 10 floors. Each one is more than just a test of your hammers and upgrades - you will need clever strategies and puzzle-solving skills to succeed.
FEATURES:
Excavate Treasures: Dig up countless treasures in a captivating excavation minigame.
Collect Hammers: Find over 12 legendary hammers, upgrade and enhance them.

The Volcanic Biome
Hey there, Glintseeker!A few weeks have passed since we release the Glintseeker Island Demo, and as promised, here's our first small biome update: Introducing the Volcanic Biome.🌋 To keep exploring and mining interesting, we want to give each biome its own identity. This includes the visual look and feel, a variety of enemies and hazards, unique ways to explore and travers the caves, and of course a new gimmick for the mining minigame: To break through the hard layers of rock in the Volcanic Biome, you'll have to use your hammer to balance the "Exploulder", getting it into the right position before it explodes. One more thing: We'll also be at gamescom next week in Cologne from August 26th - 30th, Wednesday to Sunday. You can find us at the Indie Arena Booth in Hall 10.2, where we'll be showing off the Glintseeker Island Demo. We're looking forward to seeing everyone who stops by!♥️We'll try to put out a new Devlog at the end of September. This is because the save system is still a work in progress, and many items, features and content will be moved or adjusted during development. We'll keep you updated if anything changes. Thank you for your understanding. ❤️If you already participarted in one of our previous Playtests: While the Demo does not allow you to go deeper into the caves than the Playtest, you can experience much more variety, content, polish, and several new features such as crafting, new items, and blueprints. We recommend starting a new save file, as older saves are not fully compatible with the demo and may result in bugs. The demo will remain available until the full release planned for 2027.Thank you so much for playing, and have fun!David, Davis, Felix and JonasRead full article on Community Announcements (Jones)AnnouncementsOfficial
