About the Game
Overview
Torque Drift 2 is a skill-driven motorsport game set in a fictional, modern-day Japanese city. It offers extensive vehicle customization, true-to-life physics with sim rig support, licensed cars and parts, intricately detailed tracks and competitive play. With native community mod support and a number of community oriented features the game delivers immersive single-player and multiplayer experiences. Torque Drift 2 is designed to mirror real-world drift dynamics, the physics ensure an authentic feel whether you’re using a controller or a high-end sim rig. Our team, made up of developers who drift cars in real life, is dedicated to making sure the driving experience is precise and enjoyable for every player, no matter their setup.

Competition
Torque Drift 2 challenges players to push their limits with a range of competitive modes. Current competitions include freestyle events, weekly leader boards, lead-and-chase challenges, and timed Motorkhana events. As the game grows, new features like livery contests, 1v1 drift battles, and crew tournaments will be introduced, offering even more ways to compete for parts, reputation, and global recognition.

Get ready to jump in and battle other players online.Drift battles work by matching you with an opponent at a similar skill level, then combining the 2 main elements of drifting competition, Lead and Chase, scores are calculated based on both players' performance.To come out on top you should be focusing on collecting all clipping points and zones in your lead run, then in your chase you should try to hold as close proximity to the lead car as possible.Ranked battlesThese battles act like normal casual matches but have a rank attached to them so the more you win the higher you go.Skill based matchmaking is at the core of Ranked as it allows for a fair and fun experience for all players. Welcome to Crew Wars
We're launching a fun new Discord leaderboard that is based around player created crews. This is a test feature built for Discord only at the moment to encourage friendly Inter crew competition and collaboration.How It works:At the end of each HERO event in game, the top 10 scores are processed and each individual earns points for their crew based on their position.#1 – 100 pts, #2 – 75 pts, #3 – 60 pts, #4 – 50 pts, #5 – 40 pts, #6 – 35 pts, #7 – 30 pts, #8 – 25 pts, #9 – 20 pts, #10 – 15 ptsThe crew standings run for the whole month, and then the winning crew earns 1 WIN that is added to the total Crew Wins leaderboard that will be posted on the first day of each month.In each new month, the crew standings will reset, giving you a chance to recoup and get ready to compete again for the new month!NOTE: The very first crew results will start to be posted as early as TOMORROW. And we will complete a TEST for the rest of the month to ensure the system is working. We will iron out any bugs and will begin official crew leaderboards and wins at the start of August. What you need to do:Simply adjust your game player name to this format:\ Player Name so that the discord bot has an easy time picking it up. Example:\ Billy Goat.
