Abashed launches in NOVEMBER 2026! Welcome to GDoC Expo!
Hey everyone, Abashed is coming out in November 2026. ❤️I've typed that sentence a few times now, and it still doesn't feel real. This game started as a handful of sketches and a story I couldn't stop thinking about. Now it has a month. This is a soft announcement. November is locked in, but I'm still settling the exact day. I'll share the full release date here in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on this page. Until then, the teaser above is your first look at what's coming. Thank you for 8,000+ wishlists! Abashed is primarily made by one person, just me, with no marketing budget. Every wishlist came from someone who played the demo, caught a trailer, or stumbled onto a post and decided to take a chance on a strange little horror game. More than 8,000 of you did that. I read the comments. I watch the playthroughs. Some of you have written to me about what the demo meant to you, and I think about those messages more than you'd guess. Thank you, truly. Welcome to GDoC Expo! The Game Devs of Color Expo is here, and if you found Abashed through it, welcome. I'm really glad you're here. Thank You and Happy Holidays!
Hello everyone! As the year comes to an end, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Abashed started as a small story I wanted to tell through a game a few years ago, and I never imagined that Issac’s journey would resonate with so many of you.Watching people play the game, seeing it featured in events and festivals I once only dreamed about, it’s all been incredibly humbling. Whether you played the demo, wishlisted the game, shared it with someone, or simply followed along quietly, your support means more than you know. This year has been a big one for the project, and for me personally. I’m excited to keep building and shaping Abashed, and to finish it with as much care and love as I can pour into it. In the coming months, I’ll be sharing more updates, and hopefully a release date very soon.Wishing you all a warm, peaceful holiday season and a wonderful start to the new year.Take care of yourselves, and I’ll see you soon with more updates ❤️If you wish to follow the development more closely, or talk to me personally, please consider joining the Discord server. Looking forward to having you there!Read full article on Community Announcements (Supantha Paul)
