  CROAK CAFE UPDATE #2

  Hello! It has been a while, I got ill, took a vacation then got ill again but after all that managed to get some new content for the game! For now whilst I test some issues as displayed below, this will be in the beta branch that anyone can have access to! All you need to do is right click on CROAK CAFE>Properties>Betas and switch to beta_test - for beta testing.Here's some new additions for the game! ORDER SYSTEM:This system is slightly different now to prevent cases where it would just constantly want two of dishes on repeat for the majority of the gameDIFFICULTY:There is now two difficulty options, I will be constantly tweaking these.Easy difficulty: Similar to the normal difficulty, but will get the highest amount regardless of patience and the order system is a bit easier. The score won't get uploaded to the leader boardsNormal difficulty: Stays the same as usual BUGS:Achievements should be fixed now.Added some extra fluid to ingredient movement so they slid and move around a bit more than being static CONTENT: There are now 3 new levels, with 2 new cafes/restaurants. There is a resolution issue for some, which will take time to fix as I have to alter the games art to make it scalable for all devices, so I will look into working on this. Still sick, so will be taking a break to recover from the flu and then I'll look into fixing anything that arises , whilst tweaking some of the stuff added to this update! Ribbiting RegardsOwen

  MAJOR UPDATE #1

  Hello, here’s the first major update for CROAK CAFE: FROM POND TO PLATE!! QUALITY OF LIFE:Trash Meter:When the trash meter is full, it will display ‘Press SHIFT/LT’ with the corresponding icon.Hold Icon:The hold will display the F/RT icon and when hold is used, will disappear until it is empty again. FEATURES:Rotation:You can now rotate ingredients to give you that bit more control of where you want them to go in your cooking station!Lunch Rush:Lunch Rush is a new combo being added to the game.To achieve Lunch Rush, once a frog is served, a meter on the left will begin to descend, every customer served after resets the meter slightly and increases customer spawn times until you hit the LUNCH RUSH.This spawns customers and for a period of 15 seconds, they will want any dish so serve them ANYTHING! Give it a try and let me know what you think! BUG FIXES:Boss attacks carrying over to the next round.Dialogue fixes during boss battle.Fixed an issue where sometimes an ingredient that isn't from this round will appear.Gamepad issues with icons next to patienceRatio issues for some users BALANCING;Some minor balance fixes like with the ingredients so you don’t get a ton of the same ingredient in a row. I will be consistently working on this to provide the best balance with ingredients given and dishes needed so this will be ongoing over the coming weeks and looking into a new system that will help with this. Expect minor updates on this in the future. KNOWN BUGS:The cursed tomato that will sometimes get stuck in other ingredients. This is known and is being worked onIngredients sometimes being pushed out of the cooking station (spaghetti). This is known and is being worked on.   CROAK CAFE COMPETITION WINNER!!

  HELLO!First of all, I’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to all who played CROAK CAFE: FROM POND TO PLATE this week. The reception has exceeded anything I could have asked for and it has been great to see so many people play and enjoy the game with over 200 people on the leader boards!! I can’t wait for you to try the new stuff I have planned for the game! As you may or may not know, I hosted a competition on launch week, which ended on the 2ND OF SEPTEMBER, 5 PM GMT. All you had to do was get the highest score in ARCADE MODE by the deadline and the winner would get themselves as frog form or design their own frog to be a customer in the game! Well - We finally, we have a winner...AYLA!CONGRATULATIONS!! You will be seeing a new frog customer very soon!! Below is the winners overall score so you can see how they achieved such a feat:I plan to host more competitions in the future so this will not be the last time you have a chance of being a frog in the game! Lastly, I am currently putting the final things together for the FIRST BIG UPDATE for CROAK CAFE: FROM POND TO PLATE so stay tuned!!Ribbiting Regards,Owen

  LAUNCH WEEK COMPETITION!! 26.8.25 - 2.9.25

  Hello! First of all a big thank you to everyone who has played the game so far, it has been cool to see what you think and see your scores on the leader boards!! Speaking of which, I am hosting a launch week competition where you can have yourself drawn as a frog in the game!! Information below! GET THE HIGHEST SCORE IN CROAK CAFE: FROM POND TO PLATE IN ARCADE MODE TUESDAY 26TH AUGUST 5 PM GMT/10 AM PT to 2ND SEPTEMBER 5 PM GMT/10 AM PT Once completed ARCADE MODE, your overall score will be submitted to the STEAM LEADERBOARDS. At the end of the event, the highest score wins! You will be able to have YOURSELF in the game as FROG FORM, just send a picture of yourself and let us do the rest! Finally - this won't be the last opportunity to have yourself as a frog in the game - I plan to add new things to the game, so with every major update, will come competitions such as this. Thank you!   Just a quick update, with minor fixes/changes based on recent feedback; - Customers Patience takes 60 seconds to deplete compared to the original 40 seconds.- Gamepad UI on pause menu has 'Start' UI icon now.- Ingredients spawn quicker now.
