  Beyond The Walls — Official Reveal

  Our biggest update yet is coming this fall! 🍂 Beyond The Walls expands Cumrooms with new ways to play, explore, and get lost. Discover community-created content through the Workshop, experience the Backrooms together in multiplayer, play as the new female character, and explore procedurally generated levels where every run is different. Steam WorkshopCreate, share, and discover community-made maps, items, and characters through the Steam Workshop. Whether you want to build new places to explore, create custom characters, or add something completely unexpected, the Workshop gives the community the tools to expand the game beyond its original walls. MultiplayerYou won’t have to explore the Backrooms alone anymore. Team up with other players, solve puzzles together, survive dangerous encounters, and try not to lose each other in the endless rooms. Playable Female CharacterUpdate 1.0 introduces a fully playable female version of the main character, along with new customization possibilities. Choose how you want to experience the game and create a character that feels like your own. Procedural GenerationExplore procedurally generated environments where layouts change from one run to the next. Every journey can bring different rooms, routes, encounters, and new opportunities to get completely lost. Native Linux and macOS SupportNative support for Linux and macOS is also coming, allowing more players to experience Cumrooms directly on their preferred platform. We’ll share further compatibility details and system requirements closer to release. And MoreBeyond The Walls will also include various smaller additions, improvements, bug fixes, optimizations, and quality-of-life changes.   Steam Workshop — Coming Soon

  Hey everyone,We have been working on Steam Workshop support for Cumrooms and we are getting close to launching it. Before it goes public, we want to make sure everything works smoothly — and for that we need a small group of people willing to get their hands dirty and actually mod something into the game.What is moddable? Workshop support covers a lot of ground. You will be able to create custom levels with your own layout, lighting and atmosphere. You can build custom enemies with unique models, animations and behaviour. Custom items can be added to the shop and picked up in game, whether that is a new weapon, tool or something purely cosmetic. On top of that, custom sex animations are also supported, so you can add entirely new scenes into the game. Basically if you have an idea for something you always wanted to see in Cumrooms, this is your chance to make it happen. How does modding work? Modding is done in Unity Engine using a dedicated Mod Kit we built specifically for Cumrooms. You do not need access to the main game project or any knowledge of how the game works internally. The Mod Kit gives you everything you need in one place — components, documentation and tools — and we tried to keep it as simple as possible. If you have made anything in Unity before, even something small, you should be able to get started without much trouble. If you are completely new to Unity it might take a bit more time, but it is definitely not out of reach. Why are we looking for testers? Workshop is a big feature and we want real feedback from real people before it goes live. We want to know if the Mod Kit makes sense, if the documentation covers what it needs to, and if there are any issues with uploading or loading mods in game.
