Explore endless hallways filled with unknown dangers in CAPTURED. Use your camera to capture anomalies and avoid sinister entities in this intense action adventure from Puck Redflix.
About this game

Explore a procedural generated endless hallway filled with unusual phenomena and ever-changing rooms. Caught in a never-ending loop, leaving the house only leads you right back into the same hallway. Plunged in complete darkness, room after room, your once-familiar home feels increasingly alien.

Break the loop by exercising your memory skills. Use your camera to zoom in on suspicious changes and select their anomaly type. Missing or incorrectly identifying any unusual phenomena within a loop will wipe your camera's memory. Correctly capture 13 anomalies to escape.

Watch out for unwanted company. While silence may be a good tactic, staying too long within a loop could give away your location. Use your flashlight, camera, and the doors strategically to survive each entity's unique mechanics.

Using a custom movement experience, step into a nostalgic late '90s aesthetic with realistic graphics, minimal UI, and a chilling atmosphere.

CAPTURED: INSANITY UPDATE v1.2.1.0
Hello anomaly hunters! To celebrate the announcement of CAPTURED 2, CAPTURED is getting a new content update. It includes a new game mode, a new entity, a leaderboard and more, so let's dive right in! INSANITY GAME MODE I was looking into more creative ways to make anomaly games more challenging that did not involve harder to find anomalies. The Insanity game mode spins the genre on its head, adding a unique roguelike twist to your anomaly hunting experience. You can capture anomalies infinitely, and every 3 loops you are offered deals with special perks and advantages, each coming with a drawback. These deals are randomly generated, making each run unique and exciting. Your max sanity starts the same as in Hard difficulty, but each time you complete a loop it gets increasingly smaller. Use your luck wisely and make the right decisions to increase your stats and dominate the loops. ANOMALY LEADERBOARD You can now compete for first place for the most captured anomalies! Along with the new Insanity game mode comes a leaderboard which tracks the most anomalies captured in a single run. All your Safe Mode, Normal, Hard and Nightmare runs qualify, but the Insanity mode will allow you to achieve scores way beyond the limits of the other modes. NEW ENTITY – DR. SPIDER Another possessed toy from Jason's childhood joins the loops! Dr. Spider can only be encountered in higher difficulties (Hard, Nightmare and Insanity mode). EASY DOORS Since you are not equipped with any weapons, doors in CAPTURED are a very important mechanic that players have to master in order to survive against some of the loop's entities. However, some players have expressed how they found the door physics mechanic hard to use and that it took away from their experience. If you are struggling with doors, you can now enable EASY DOORS in the GAMEPLAY SETTINGS tab. This new difficulty option allows players to open and close doors with a single interaction key. DEFORMED ROOMS SANITY While CAPTURED embraces ...Read full article on Community Announcements (puckredflix)AnnouncementsOfficial
Announcing CAPTURED 2
Today I'm excited to share a glimpse into the next chapter of CAPTURED. CAPTURED 2 follows the story of Emily, a girl who also got trapped inside the loops. It's a sequel to CAPTURED but features a standalone story, diving deeper into its universe. Similar to what happened to Jason, Emily finds herself in an infinite hallway with ever-changing rooms and deadly entities that have taken the form of her childhood toys. The loops are erasing her memory, and even the faces of loved ones are slowly fading away. By capturing anything unfamiliar on camera, she has a chance of finding a way out, while on a journey of discovering her past. CAPTURED is the first game I ever made and has been a fantastic learning experience. Before release, the game was heavily tested by my friends, but over 18,000 players later, I have a way better vision for the future of CAPTURED. In the sequel, expect to find everything you loved about the first game, while expanding on storytelling and exploration, with more mind-bending anomalies, new entities and new mechanics! When I started developing CAPTURED, I never expected it would resonate with so many people, and I'm grateful for your support, which allows me to expand CAPTURED's story. Thank you all for the kind words and the immense love you’ve shown to my work. Many of your beautiful reviews have brought happy tears to my eyes. I’m so happy to have met so many of you across social media and I’m excited to share more about CAPTURED 2 with you in the coming months. If you want to support me and CAPTURED 2, make sure to Wishlist it on Steam, and if you want to follow updates, make sure to follow me on X.
