Update 1.3 - Menu Overhaul
Hey Hey people! Today is a big day for me as Im thrilled to announce that I finally took a step forward in Exterminant and redid all the menus for the game. They still follow mostly the same art direction as the previous versions, but now they are easily to update and fix eventual problems that may occur. My previous attempt at making a menu went horribly, and I guess that the older versions speak for themselves. But not only that, the game now has significantly more Gameplay Updates that essentially changes how you play the game completely, enemies now move in an unrecognizable pattern and the main algorithm for how the snake moves has changed to be more like what inspired me to make Exterminant in the first place (Thanks to SNKRX).Anyhow, enough of talking, lets get to the bullet points:Changes:Player movement now is consistent and every part now constantly follows its front partEnemies now move in a noisy patternMudlands was completely revamped with its own new pair of enemies.Blood particles are much more present in the game, but there's a toggle if It's too much for anyoneResearch menu now is simplerResearching tech is no more in a tree manner, you can directly choose what tech to unlockRemoved:Several of the old tech was removed since it could be judged as "too-repetitive"Some achievements are no longer obtainableFriends Leaderboards are removed for now until a better solution comes to mindAdded:New tech was added to the tech tree (Dirty Sock, Grenade Launcher)New enemies with unique behavior(PERFOMANCE) Object pooling was implemented to reduce CPU overheadThis is it... a new future for Exterminant is on sight. I have tried to update the game several times in the past but was never satisfied with the result, most of them resulted in a major rework that led to more bugs than solutions, Update 1.3 is far from what I wanted Exterminant to become but it's a step on the right direction. Thanks for anyone that supported the project, I will continue to add content to i...Read full article on Community Announcements (Visni)Patch NotesOfficial

For the past 2 months, I've been cooking some content for you extermination enthusiasts. Here is what you can expect in this update: 1 new world: Mudlands 2 new enemy types 3 new guns to maximize destruction Steam friends Leaderboards Note: Unfortunately, we had to change a few underlying systems of the game that caused a mass loss on saved progress, you may also expect a reset on your current progress, but I assure that this only happened on this update and further updates will try to be as compatible with old saves as possibleRead full article on Community Announcements (Visni)Patch NotesOfficial
