About this game

EarthRoyale 3 is a simulation map observation game where the aim of the game is to watch as the world turns into chaos in front of your eyes, watch as empires fall, new empires rising, independence movements either failing or succeeding, new land being formed, continents being flooded and turned into oceans truly anything can happen.

The game is pixel based with 3 different map size options:
the big map size is roughly 5x5km per pixel and 8192x4096 pixels big.
the medium map size is roughly 10x10km per pixel and 4096x2049 pixels big.
the small map size is roughly 20x20km per pixel and 2048x1025 pixels big

Each map size also has 4 different base game variant maps
Defacto is a Defacto map of the world where the borders and what countries exists is based on who is in actual control of what land
UN is a map where the borders and what countries exists is depending on what the UN sees as a country and what is generally accepted as the legal borders of the world

both of those maps have a option to also have what is known as "micro nations" on them.

    EarthRoyale 2.5

Due to being heavily burnt out lately while also dealing with a bunch of personal stuff i decided to make a new mini EarthRoyale game in within only 3 weeks. This has been added as a launch option to both EarthRoylale 3 and EarthRoyale, this is because i want it to be playable to anyone who have bought either game for freeDue to the time restraints i only had time to do Europe, with Balkan not being fully finished and will most likely be updated to the same detail as the rest of Europe at a later time.Due to how much more simple it is there is a bunch of fun events in it like1, War2,Buy City3.Buy Subdivision4.Buy land belonging to own culture5.City Revolt6.SubDivision Revolt7.Culture Revolt8.Form Alliance9.End Alliance10.Form Defense Treaty11.End Defense Treaty12.Declare war on entire world13.Form Union14.Split up UnionThe map includes population number which in turn (along with a hidden luck number) influences what side wins each battleThera are 10 map modes you can switch between (1 per number button)You can turn on auto repeat mode by pressing CapslockYou can turn on next event by pressing space

Beta 4 plans & Content vote

sorry for so many posts recently and no updates, just got well again after being sick for all of january and end of december and really want to get into the work mood again on ER3 going to try to work on smaller stuff while slowly working on the big projects related to ER3 instead of only working on these big daunting parts, this hopefully means a smaller beta 4 will release in the near futurefor this i'm considering just doing a event and some provinces for some countries and to choose what i'll do i thought why not make a vote for it. will most likely continue doing it this way for a few updates now while working on the map maker in the background and implementing the province lag reduction once all provinces are doneaiming to release the first one / beta 4 on 1/2/2026 but might be delayed due to hospital visits or time taken to make itTLDR will do smaller updates from now on with event + provinces, will hold votes for what i add first with aim at first release 1st februaryEvent vote: https://forms.gle/6yKARAPZjbFQMjAk7Province vote: https://forms.gle/GxMNZ4S7YxYXM1Si9

Development Update / seeking feedback for major re design of gameplay

What's Happened since october?Basically i've had a big burnout due to nearly no income from game anymore, lower ammount of player feedback than i'm used to and working on stuff i hatethe things i've worked on is the map maker wich is just pure torture for me, and 3 planned "DLC'S" that will be minor small fantasy/mythological stuff purely as a small bonus for donating money to the future development of the game. i've also worked on a side project to try to lower the burnoutontop of that i've had around 7 or 8 doctors appointment, moved house, had family over and a bunch of other stuff i've had to do that has stoped me from working while draining a lot of energyWhat's is in the next update right now?Right now i'm done with around half of Alpha 1 of the map maker, all planning for the DLC stuff, i'm testing a new system that dynamically lowers what the game simulates each day depending on FPS and testing a auto camera system.Major change to how the game's coded/done that i'm consideringi'm considering changing the game from being fully pixel based to being semi subdivision/province based with the provinces being split/merged each day based on how many of 10 ish battles each side won or lost and the size of the subdivision, this would decrease lag a lot and allow me to possibly remove medium and small map to increase development speedthere's a vote for it right now in the game's Discord Server any feedback on it would be highly apreciated
