Craft efficient transit hubs by placing turnstiles and escalators, guiding thousands of commuters through your designs. Can you handle rush hour?

About this game

In Metro Station Designer, you take on the role of a transit architect, building complex underground stations from scratch. Transform empty subterranean spaces into efficient, living transit hubs capable of moving massive crowds during peak hours.

Gridless 3D Construction & Multi-Level Transfers

Break free from rigid grids. Draw custom curved walls, excavate multi-level concourses, and connect platforms with wide stairs, escalators, and accessible elevators. Seamlessly integrate ticket gates, security checkpoints, and platform screen doors to ensure safe and organized passenger movement across every floor.

Dynamic Crowd Simulation & Rush-Hour Demands

Experience realistic passenger behaviors powered by continuous crowd simulation. Thousands of individual commuters navigate your station with distinct destinations, walking speeds, and transit choices. When morning and evening rush hours hit, train doors open and massive crowds surge in—putting your layout, platform capacity, and passage widths to the ultimate test.

Wayfinding Systems, Diagnostics & Optimization

Prevent chaos before it starts. Place directional signage, line indicators, and exit guides to actively split flows and steer commuters along optimal routes. Utilize real-time heatmaps and Level of Service (LOS) diagnostics to pinpoint bottlenecks, eliminate cross-flow congestion, and fine-tune your station for maximum throughput.

Tackle structured scenario challenges with strict space and budget limits, or unleash your imagination in unrestricted Sandbox Mode. Create, share, and download custom maps and station layouts through Steam Workshop.
