About this game

In the dead of night, amidst the ominous whispers of the forest, a nightmare awakens. Welcome to Dark Symphony, a spine-chilling first-person horror experience that plunges you into a haunting tale of obsession, madness, and survival.

Story

You are John, a man who wakes from a restless sleep beside his wife in your secluded cabin deep in the woods. Your peaceful night is shattered by the eerie mumblings of an unnamed man outside, searching desperately for his lost vinyl records. He scattered these six records in his drunken stupor, each containing a movement from Percy Grainger's "Lincolnshire Posy," throughout the forest clearing. The man, driven to the brink of madness by his obsession with this music, will stop at nothing to retrieve them.

The stakes are terrifyingly high. The strange man is temporarily distracted as the records play, giving you precious moments to locate and place the remaining records on one of the six gramophones scattered around the clearing. But beware: if he catches you, he will chase you down and end your life. Should the current gramophone finish playing before you find the next record, the man will storm into your cabin and kill your sleeping wife, ending your desperate quest in horror and failure.

    Dark Symphony Store Page Released!

Hello all, After months of development, I decided to publish the store page for the game I've been working on, Dark Symphony. The idea for the game came to me in the shower. I was listening to "Lincolnshire Posy," a six-movement piece by Percy Grainger. I played trumpet in high school and was reminiscing about this piece we played. I'm a big fan of horror games, and cogs were turning in my head. After getting out of the shower, I knew I would create a horror game with a posy-obsessed man, whether it took a couple of months or even years. Several months after that shower, we're here! I've spent 100+ hours thinking about and developing this thing, and I look forward to many more so that you and I are both pleased with the final product. Wishlist Now :) Here is a funny video taken much earlier in the development cycle. Thank you for following my journey!
