About this game

WELCOME TO THE COMPANY, CREW MEMBER... READY TO PURGE SOME ANOMALIES?

In Anomaly Company you and your crew are sent in to assess reality in this 4-player co-op horror game. Set in realistic, liminal environments, you must memorize your surroundings and spot disturbing anomalies. Decide if the timeline is safe. One bad call—and you’re forced to start over.

ARE YOU PREPARED TO CONTAIN THE ANOMALOUS TIMELINES?

GAMEPLAY

  • 1–4 Player Online Co-Op
Play solo or with up to 4 players online in a cooperative horror experience. Communicate using voice chat or text chat to analyze environments, share observations, and argue over whether an anomaly is present.

  • Your Job as a Crew member
Each level begins in a stable state. Memorize the environment, then watch closely as subtle changes, disturbing anomalies, and terrifying events may occur. Decide whether the timeline is safe or must be purged to progress.

A SOLO DEV PROJECT

I’m a solo developer working on Anomaly Company entirely by myself. Every feature, update, and fix is made by me. Because of this, development can be slower than that of a typical game studio—but it also means the game is built with care, passion, and close attention to player feedback.

Announcement regarding the Asylum Map Removal

Hi everyone,I don't know how to say this, so I'm starting it off by why I removed the Asylum map, briefly share how I feel about the decision and how I found out.So as you all know I released the highly anticipated Asylum map, the third map of the game this last friday the 11th of September. On the first day or two I received a great response from lots of you telling me you loved the level, and that it actually met the requests that you guys have made to me over the last months asking for a scarier than normal level. I was really happy to see the positive response the map had so far received. However, today I started to see comments under my Youtube trailer video of the map, that said this map looks a lot like a map from Outlast. After getting multiple comments like this within a short timespan, I decided to do some thorough checking, and came to the same conclusion as the comments that it indeed looks extremely similar. This immediatly shocked me. I have spent months making this anomaly level.I instantly went home to do my research and was shocked by the result. I had no idea, the friends I tested with had no idea, and I was dumbfounded. I myself had never played the Outlast game, and please note that this game came out in 2013. Back then I did not play any horror games yet.How did I obtain this map?As a solo developer, most of my time has gone into the actual development of, one: the multiplayer programming, two: the actual gameplay and the anomaly logic, and three: actually preparing and making the anomaly content within the levels. (Note: I am a programmer, not much of an artist. So programmers like me who are solo devs usually resort to purchasing 3D assets to make up for the lack of 3D modelling skills). As many solo developers do, we use game engines and their marketplaces on which we can purchase 3D assets that speed up our development. For this game, I use Unreal Engine 5, and its corresponding marketplace to buy game assets on, is https://www.fab.com/FAB has ...

Performance boost Hotel | Patch Notes 2026.1.3

Hi Everyone,Following the Hotel map release, I’m happy to share that a new update is now live with significant performance optimizations. As stated in the release post, Hotel was more performance demanding than the other maps and as promised, this update focuses on improving that. Players should now notice higher FPS and a smoother overall experience, especially on mid-range systems. The FPS is now great on both Medium and even on High quality settings.I’m continuing to actively improve and optimize the game throughout Early Access, and add something new every update. The change list is as follows:Performance optimizations for noticeably higher FPS and smoother gameplay in the Hotel mapFixed the level indicator next to the red laptop, it now updates correctly in the Hotel mapRemoved debug text in the top left of the screen that sometimes appears during gameplayAdded a VSync notice to help players who are experiencing screen tearingFixed a small wall camera not appearing during certain anomalies in the Office map when it shouldThank you for playing. See you in the next update! The DeveloperKekdot
