Navigate the intricate world of skeletal anatomy in Bonle by Elderstone Studios. Solve puzzles, set records, and craft new skeletons while earning points for cosmetic upgrades.
About this game
Bonle is a casual puzzle solving game designed to help people learn about skeletal anatomy and solve fun puzzles doing it! You can choose from a Human skeleton, a T. Rex skeleton, or a Cat skeleton to start the game, and your goal is to guess the target bone that's been selected at random. When you make a guess, the bone will change color to show how close you are to the right answer.
No Prior Knowledge Needed!
Shown below is an example of the bone index, a library that tells you the simplified name for the bone and what you should type. As the difficulty increases, the bones become less and less simplified!
Progression
Progress through game unlocking new skeletons, getting trophies, comparing leaderboard scores with your friends, competing with the people at home, or buying new cosmetics with in-game currency.

What's up Bonle people, I just wanted to make a new announcement because I finally got around to making a discord server for everyone to join. Here's the link, come chat with me/report bugs or just join the community. I'm currently a one man show so I'll try to answer everyone but please be patient with me. I'm working on a new game and once I start to make some real progress I'll be announcing it in the server. Thanks for all the support :) -stonemanRead full article on Community Announcements (stoneman)AnnouncementsOfficial
BONLE Demo Out Now!
The official BONLE demo is out now! I am super super excited to share this with you guys, and this announcement serves as a bank of info about the demo and the full release. Firstly, the demo only has the main gameplay mechanic and NOT the main gameplay loop. There is progression in the future I promise! As for features in the demo we have the mechanic, the bone index(library so you don't have to do any research on bone systems), basic settings and credits, and then the options for skeleton types are the T. Rex, Cat, and Human. Each skeleton has 3 difficulties -easy, medium, and hard- with each difficulty increasing the number of bone denominations in the skeleton(getting more nitpicky about anatomy). Now, for the full release, there will be a lot more in store when you play the game. Below I am going to add a comprehensive list that includes everything I plan on adding in the future. If you guys have any suggestions or recommendations, please join the discord that will be up very soon, I'd love to hear what you guys dislike/like about the game. Main Gameplay LoopIn the full release there will be 6 new skeletons added on top of the 3 available in the demo, all of which will be locked at game start. In order to unlock new skeletons/creatures you will have to set specific trophies on specific skeletons and use them to unlock the new skeleton(skeleton alchemy). Saving Systemsaves/accounts will be available in the full version, with the trophies and records set being specific to one profile, allowing local leaderboard competition. This also saves which skeletons you have unlocked. Easy of Use FeaturesFeatures that make the game more intuitive/easier for people who have trouble remembering bones will be available in the full version. This includes a better text acceptance/recommendation system for when you are guessing as well as a collapsible cheat sheet that lets you see what bones are in the skeleton you are playing. CosmeticsHats for your skeletons will be able to be...Read full article on Community Announcements (CentreFusion)AnnouncementsOfficial
Welcome to BONLE!
Hi! My name is Calvin and I'm the indie developer behind Coding in Stone Studios. BONLE is a project 3 years in the making with the goal of making an educational video game that is approachable and fun for all ages! Like some other puzzle games you might know, you use your knowledge to solve a word based puzzle, unlock new levels, and buy cosmetics. In the next couple of days there will be a demo coming out for BONLE, and if you think that my game is an interesting prospect, I highly recommend trying the demo! Its completely free and showcases the main gameplay mechanic. My next announcement will be in regards to the demo and BONLE's participation in the Steam Next Fest event, so go check it out for more details! In the future you can expect the full release to be coming out with the main gameplay loop, statistics, local leaderboards(& possibly steam leaderboards), cosmetic items for your skeletons, and easy of use features like a cheatsheet you can use in game if you have trouble remembering the spellings of different bones. I did my best to make the demo as polished as possible, so if you find any bugs or things that might be changed, please write a review or join the discord that will be coming out this week. I always appreciate feedback, so if you guys have any thoughts on features you like/don't like, please let me know! Thanks for looking at my page, I hope you like my game!
