About this game
Welcome to the largest "Falsehood" in human history.
Redshift Point is a first-person survival extraction RPG that fuses modern Chinese industrial aesthetics with a near-future collapse. Forget the neon-drenched, shallow "Cyberpunk" clichés. We are here to offer a dose of Sino-Industrial Rationalism.
No more Cyber Blink!
We have had enough of the westernized "Cyberpunk" visual tropes—endless neon lights and exoticized "future cities" that serve no purpose. In Redshift Point, we returned to the roots of the 21st-century Chinese industrial soul and merged it with 20th-century socialist aesthetics.
We don't believe in "RPG numbers" floating in the air. Combat in the Nova Exclusion Zone is about physics, momentum, and the brutal reality of ballistics.
Authentic Ballistics: If your kinetic energy doesn't beat the armor plate, you achieve nothing. We focus on the visceral feedback of machinery and lead.
Hardcore Survival: Every shot matters. We prioritize the "feel" of the weapon over the stats on a screen. This is professional-grade physical intervention.

In the year 2037, the crisis isn't just about AI or corporate greed; it’s about the Commodification of Existence.
In the Exclusion Zone, we don't care about the labels assigned to you by "Global Corporate Ethics" . To the Megacorps, your identity is just another product to be exploited.
We believe in the collective struggle of the "disposable" worker and soldier. Whether you are a Scavenger or a Soldier, you are being exploited by the same invisible hand.
Those forced to perform "Identity" to survive are the truly marginalized. We reject the divisive politics of the elite. Here, everyone's life is a resource—and it’s time to take that resource back.

Redshift Development Report #2: Weapon System Fixes
Here's the translation with formatting codes retained: --- **Opening Statement** **Hello everyone,** Welcome to the RSP Steam Developer Update. This video will showcase the progress on weapon handling in *Redshift Point*, including the migration of weapon animations from UE4 to UE5 skeletons and optimization of all weapon models for the demo version. Firstly, we’d like to clarify a point: some of you may have noticed that we haven’t released many of the previous weapons yet. This is mainly because some models developed by the previous project lead weren’t properly optimized, and many assets seemed to lack consideration for actual gameplay. It's like a beautiful building with a hollow structure and insufficient support, requiring significant technical adjustments and fixes on our end. We believe that many of our supporters are still eagerly awaiting more demonstrations and content updates. Now, over to *Redshift* team’s charming *Senior Animator Thangh*, who will provide a detailed introduction to the weapon system. **Real Project Status Report** We apologize for not being able to update with substantial content immediately. After taking stock of their assets, we found that many of them were still in the prototype stage. Since we have only recently taken over, my expectation for the development logs is that they reach the content volume of other AAA projects at the initial stages of development (for example, the 2021 development update for *Ready or Not*). **Rebuilding the PvE Survival Shooting Experience:** In designing the game’s animations, we aim to maintain a sense of authenticity and solidity while incorporating stylized elements that make the weapons feel unique and appealing. We can’t set the standards too high right now, as many of the assets left behind are still in prototype stages. My expectation for the next two weeks is for the development log’s content volume to reach a level comparable to that of early updates in other AAA projects (such as *Ready or ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Jäger)Patch NotesOfficial
RSP’s Steam developer update #1 :Map and art design
Opening Remarks Hello, everyone, Welcome to RSP’s Steam developer update. We have taken over this account, and yes, be prepared, the next few updates may include team-building activities, so please be aware and prepare mentally for this. If there are players still concerned — we understand. After all, restoring trust takes time. We are ready to put in real efforts to rebuild certain things. In any case, as per usual process, I will share behind-the-scenes details of RSP's development with you. These updates might cover a range of topics, including gameplay, mechanics, weapons, equipment, and more. You’ll also have the chance to get an early look at upcoming content, so stay tuned! Starting from this update, we’ll have the developers themselves introduce their work, avoiding any PR manager’s gloss. Of course, a big part of sharing all this information with you involves hearing your thoughts — so please let us know in the comments below, and we’ll take notes! Now, the mic goes to Нариман, who will present his development progress report on "Redshift Point." **Rocky Start: Fixing Past Mistakes** Firstly, we encountered serious integration issues when taking over this level, as it was inherited from former developers who have since been dismissed. The map had severe performance and design flaws; while it may look decent to the untrained eye, it was virtually unusable. To make things worse, I heard they even handed over this map to our leadership and presented it as part of a holiday display, tarnishing our reputation with such an unprofessional piece. In the end, we managed to resolve these issues. The head of the technical art team will showcase this part in his development report, so I won’t go into detail here. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45122681/972e1deb5b1d021c72317ef4e6b9a2dafe9dccfd.png Even after optimization, the map’s design remained poor, and to make things worse, it lacked any connection to the storyline, making it unrelated to the world and the game. Overall, it wa...Read full article on Community Announcements (Jäger)
